Location is a distance from the bus stop but there was a free shuttle service provided by the hotel. Onsen facilities were good! Great service provided by staff! Would love to stay longer if possible.

Lovely and helpful staff. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the onsen every night. The food was really good too. Every day different new discoveries.

Excellent stay! Ryokan was clean and spacious. Dinner and breakfast were out of the world. Attention to details with an elaborate menu. Outdoor onsen was also fantastic! Would gladly stay again if visiting the area!

The service is outstanding since my first step into the hotel. The room is big like i can run around. Breakfast is great. Plenty of good food served as japanese set. Onsen is really comfortable. I went there in summer that there were not many tourists. So sometime, there was only me in the onsen. It was very quiet peaceful and relaxing A mark for those who books for dinner excluded bundle. There are rarely any restaurant around. There is one in front of the street corner (5mins walk) but the opening time and date could not be expected. You can find something to eat from Family mart (20 mins walk).

There are buses to the hot springs from bus stop number 10 in front of Morioka Station. The hot spring town where it's located has no other businesses, making it perfect for pure hot spring bathing. The hotel offers standard Japanese service, with set meals for breakfast and dinner that change seasonally. The rooms are tatami rooms, and the hotel will make up the beds for you while you eat.

1. Hotel Location The hotel is located in a relatively remote area of ​​Tsunaki Onsen. Access involves a slope and a road. Buses are infrequent, making it difficult for those without a car to reach the area. A taxi from Morioka Station costs a fixed 5,000 yen fare to the hot springs, and the journey takes over 20 minutes. 2. Neighborhood Amenities The hotel is located in a relatively remote area of ​​the hot springs. The nearest convenience store is over a 15-minute walk away. There are few other shops nearby. Once you enter the hotel, you're confined to the hotel. Even if you want to walk to the nearby river, the walk is over ten minutes. It's recommended to stock up on daily necessities, such as snacks, in the city before heading to the hotel. 3. Hotel Facilities This hotel is a very traditional hot spring inn. The building has three floors and approximately 21 rooms. The baths are separate for men and women, one indoor and one outdoor. However, the outdoor open-air bath is too close to the grass, making it prone to mosquitoes at night. The indoor bath is spacious, and since there are not many guests, you can enjoy it alone. The room facilities are a bit dated. The Wi-Fi speed is adequate, but the TV cannot connect to a tablet or YouTube. The room window overlooks the landscaped grounds next to the lobby. If you enjoy traditional Japanese inns, you will enjoy the facilities at this hotel. 4. Hotel Staff The hotel staff are very friendly and proactive in offering assistance. However, one area I think could be improved is that the dinner and breakfast service was a bit too fast.

This is a very traditional Japanese-style garden hot spring inn. The breakfast and dinner included in the stay were exquisite. Most importantly, the service staff were super nice and attentive. The rooms were very clean and the surrounding area was very quiet!
