"Igloo is a very well-run hotel, owned by its two proprietors, with comfortable rooms and a very complete breakfast. This is my fourth year there. The only things I miss are a mini-fridge and air conditioning. Perhaps irrelevant in winter for skiers, but for mountain bikers in summer (like me), they're essential. In my case, I'd be willing to pay extra for those two extras."

"What an amazing hotel. Excellent customer service. Everyone is always smiling and happily to assist. My son came to visit at last minute and the hotel was able to add him to our reservation. We went there for the Spartan Race in July and it was very close to the Start line. Jacuzzi was clean and relaxing with amazing views. Breakfast was great each morning. I loved the Game of Thrones reference in our bathroom too 🤣🤣Thank you to the wonderful staff for great service!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights beginning of Feb and loved our stay. I read a few negative reviews before we went but not sure why. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. The hotel is in ideal location, ski rental shop (called ski fun) right next door and a bakery. Can just walk out the hotel and you are on the beginner slope down. is an easy 10 min stroll down into the main bar/restaurant area. we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and was ideal for a couple. Decent size and the balcony had amazing views of the mountains. Would definitely stay again."

"Our group of 60 was checked in within 15 minutes of our arrival on 8 February, and that was a record!! From that point forward, the attentive and friendly staff made us feel right at home during our ski week in Morzine. So many thanks to Herve, Louis, Heidi, Bertrand, Nina, Patrice, Justin and all others whose names I did not write down or could not hear in the noisy setting of 60 people all talking at once!! Every single person on the staff made our stay so very pleasant and comfortable. Our unprecedented event, a Super Bowl party in the middle of the night, could not have been better! Herve found his groove as our wee hours' bartender and the charcuterie and cheese platters kept us well fed as we cheered our team, The Philadelphia Eagles, on to victory! Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, and those desserts--ooh,la,la! Kudos to all the chefs de cuisine. Our rooms were so cozy and the beds so comfortable. I have not slept so well in months. We loved the location which made accessing the free valley shuttle bus and both the upper and lower towns. We loved every moment of our Morzine stay, and it was hard to say Au Revoir! Merci Beaucoup Pour Tout!"

"Excellent hotel in an ideal location. Easy walking distance to either Pleny or SuoerMorzine bubbles for skiing. Good sized heated boot and ski room. Pool great and warm with changing and shower facilities. Breakfast had a good selection if hot and cold food and the staff were very friendly throughout stay."

"Friendly, convenient hotel within easy reach of the super Morzine lift to Avoriaz, the bus/ train stop to the pleny lift for Morzine & Les Gets. Easily walkable to Morzine’s Main Street for bars, restaurants and shops. Staff very friendly and flexible, good restaurant , La Flamme and Intersport shop ( the least expensive ski shop we found) at the super Morzine lift."

"4 of us arrived on Friday for a 3 night trip. After hearing the time of our arrival Bethan was kind enough to have our rooms made up and gave us access from 12 instead of 4 which meant we could quickly change and head to the slopes. We booked a twin and 2 singles. The twin was very nice. The singles rooms are basic but comfortable and work well for one person. Showers in the single rooms are small but good enough. I had an issue with one of the locks on the single room so Bethan allowed me to switch on the first night to more spacious room with larger shower. The hotel has everything you need for a short trip where most of the time you are either skiing or at Apres/ out eating. We only used the hotel to sleep/ shower. Continental breakfast was included with croissants and yoghurts available as well as eggs cheese etc, was a good start to the day. Hotel is about 10-12 min walk from the super Morzine bubble and village centre. Would be a pain in ski boots but we kept ours at the local ski shop at the bottom of the lift so wasn’t an issue. There’s also a direct bus right outside that we used a couple of times. Final day we were given a late checkout in one room which allowed us to put all the bags in one room to change were we came back about 1:30 pm. . Overall very nice hotel with friendly staff and all the things needed for a short ski trip. Thank you to The Nant and team."
