"Westwall Lodge is a first class establishment. The condos are individually owned and the majority are available for lease. It is a first class establishment about 200 feet from the Westwall lift. Pool, weight room, sauna, indoor parking, in-house bar and within walking distance of base area with a number of restaurants. Not a hotel but an amazing experience."

"We stayed in Buttes Condominiums #509 which was located on the 2nd floor of the 2nd building. We had made reservations through CBMR group, who we were referred to through a wedding so we got a discounted rate. We were 5 adults and wanted 2 BR/2 ba, so when this was offered to us when we called to get reservations, we took it. A few days before going, I called to say we would not be arriving until after 6pm and was told that was no problem as someone would be there until 10 pm. So we arrived shortly after 6pm on the day of check-in, no one was there. We called a # that was on a sign at the check in desk and directed to a lock box which had our paperwork and keys. Followed the map to the condo, had to cart our luggage up 4 flights of stairs and up a gravel incline. We are from the midwest and most of us are middle aged and we had no idea of the affect the altitude would have on us. One in our party has asthma and was having a real hard time. It would have helped to have had a ground floor unit or a building with an elevator. Then when we tried to use the keys, they did not work so we called the emergency # (thank goodness our cell phones worked) and within 10 minutes someone arrived and agreed we had the wrong keys. While the unit was clean and had comfortable beds, it is very dated (think 1970's). Gas fireplace did not work despite the pilot light being lit. The one tV that worked was very old and had a terrible picture. Windows in one of the bedrooms were very high up and could not be opened without a ladder. Housekeeping was efficient and did let us know how to turn in our keys for checkout as there office was closed the entire weekend. Hot tub was shut down, locked and bolted with chains. It would have been nice to have had access to it as we were told when I made reservations. I wish we had made reservations at a different property...wish we had been advised better. The area is beautiful though as was the wedding we attended."
