Country Cabins Inn

A grand option in this area of severely limited options. Would be 5 star if the owner would do the maintenance required for his village.

Good place but needs upkeep. Lights not working, knobs off, dust and outside the logs need treating.

Lovely little cabins in a quiet small town. This was our second stay. The cabins are right off the main road but tucked away and quiet. There is a convenience store in walking distance and a coffee shop. There is a restaurant on site plus a few within walking distance. Everyone in the town is friendly. Why we came back, this is small town America. If you want a place to get away from the hustle and bustle this is your place.

Very conveniently located, very clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front office was very accommodating at a last moment arrival. The was wildlife right in our front yard. That was interesting to see.

Wonderful stay. Only concern was the laundry facility, which is one reason we picked this place. Several machines are out of order but we got there early and got it done. If it would have been busy, it might have been a hassle.

6 of us stayed in the Fox Den. We had plenty of room which was great. We were in town for a wedding being held at the Stateline Campground which is a 40 minute drive from the cabins. It was a great alternative to staying in a tent at the campground to be sure. Plus we got to shower!

My second visit at this hotel. I gave 5 stars last time. We drove 30 miles out of our way just to stay there, because we liked it so much 2 years ago. Paying a lot of money for 3 nights stay on this trip. We got Only 2 bath towels, one hand towel and one wash cloths for 2 of us during the 3 days we emptied trash by ourselves. Pillows are so small, all 3 pillows can fit in one midsize pillow case. There are so many teenagers surrounding our cabin, they were playing outside till late at night. Noisy, and bouncing basketball at night . we could not sleep for two nights. We will never go back there again. Not sure if management had changed. It was the worst we have experienced on this road trip. It’s very expensive and no service at all.

The cabins are rustic but yet very comfortable and most importantly - clean! Cabin area was quiet and close to dining and convenience store.

The cabins are clean and well maintained. They are walking distance to restaurants, playgrounds, parks, and convenience stores. The only thing that would make them better is if the hot water heater had the capacity to provide enough hot water for 3 people to shower.
