Having just got home from our stay here we really wish we’d booked for longer! This was our first time to Tunisia and we were not disappointed. There was nothing we could find fault with.. The hotel is very clean, spacious, looked after, well presented, easy to get around, and the staff really work so hard to take care of their guests. Nothing is too much trouble, you are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome and they are so friendly and hard working. Our room was amazing, at first we were given a low floor room with a view of the trees so I asked if we could possibly move to a better view and we were moved to the top floor with no trouble at all. This room was still the same standard but the view was amazing. We looked right out over the pools and to the sea in Manar 1. Our room number was 1634 and we had a balcony to sit out on. The room itself was very comfortable and always cleaned every day by the most friendly cleaning ladies ever! The food was lovely, lots of variety in the main buffet restaurant, a pool snack bar serving burgers and paninis and also a pool restaurant serving similar to the main restaurant. You’ll never go hungry as there is food served near enough all day. There is also a beach and pool bar so you never have far to walk for drinks. In addition to this there are coffee shops, and an Al a Carte restaurant but we didn’t try those. I heard they were very good though. There was a very good selection of cocktails and soft drinks and ice creams on the go all day at the pool restaurant. My only suggestion to the hotel regarding drinks would be to install a self serve soft drinks machine in the main buffet restaurant next to the coffee machine as during the busiest meal times it was often a bit of a wait to find someone to order drinks from and then more wait for the drinks to be bought over to the table. The staff coped very well but it would just free up their time and ours if we could serve ourselves soft drinks as well as tea and coffee. The lifeguards at the pool and beach are so attentive and friendly. They really do look out for all the guests, especially the kids in the water. The beach was lovely and clean, there is a wide range of water sports to take part in and lots of sunbeds always available at the pool and beach. Last and definitely not least I just want to give a special mention to the young man who works in reception, his name is Nader. He had the patience of a saint with me during my room change as I packed everything up ready to move. He waited so patiently and then took all our cases up to the next room for me and then when I lost my charger he accompanied me in trying to find it and couldn’t have been more helpful. Also to the TUI reps who were all so lovely and friendly especially Noura/Nora? Not too sure how to spell her name but she was lovely to us and is a real credit to the hotel along with Nader ☺️ We had a lovely holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel in th

We have just spent two weeks at this lovely hotel, the staff make this hotel and make you feel so welcome, they can’t do enough for you. We had a couple of teething problems but Noura soon sorted this out. We had a lovely clean room with a pool, there were 14 of us 5 rooms. Our maid was just wonderful she gave us a big hug every day. Activity Pool bar Mohamed was great fun as was the lifeguard Salah, we had such a laugh with these two. The entertainment team were friendly and a good laugh, special shout out to Brown, Jamaica, Boaba, Alex and Sisi ❤️ we are taking away wonderful memories and hope they keep the new darts game going 😂 restaurant and bar staff were fantastic, special mention to Mohamed Ali in the lobby. Italian restaurant staff made a massive effort for our friends 21st birthday and our last evening meal, they were fantastic. My husband used the gym as enjoyed it. The gardeners kept the place immaculate, they’re the forgotten ones when tipping but always a good morning or hello to be had, they even gave my friend some flowers 🥰 on the whole it was a brilliant holiday and we would return!!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was cheerful and welcoming from the beginning to the end of our visit. The hotel offers a wide range of delicious food. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean. It is an ideal place to spend a vacation with family. We definitely want to come back again! Thank you for your excellent service!

This is my third time at the Manar Resort. I loved it so much the first two times that I decided to go again. As usual, the hospitality is top-notch; you can’t ask for better staff. They are always smiling and happy to help. The food is amazing as always, with plenty of variety to please every palate. There is a new restaurant open now, which is by reservation only. If you are staying for 7 nights and have an all-inclusive package, your first visit is free. You get a choice of soup, a cold starter, a warm starter, a main dish, and a dessert. You will definitely walk out of there with a full stomach, so make sure you don’t eat beforehand 😂. One thing I missed is the animation team, which is no longer around. They used to give the resort a different vibe around the pool with kids' activities, beach parties, and night-time entertainment that engaged both kids and adults. It was a lot of fun. Also, now you have to book most of the activities via the TUI app, which I find annoying at times. I’m on holiday and don’t want to keep holding my phone all the time. Another thing I want to mention is that every time I come back, I am still mesmerized by the greenery and how spacious it is. Other than that, it’s still one of the best resorts I’ve been to as a family.

First of all got to start the review with a special mention to the staff. All super friendly and helpful, whether at the bar, restaurant, housekeepers or beach and pools! Room we had was a little dated, but overall ok. There was a cot waiting in the room which was a welcome addition. The bed was far too firm for my liking too. Lack of included mini bar with all inclusive is also not good, all you get is water and milk. Food is of quite a high standard for generally buffet food and the al a carte restaurant is nice too, with a free 3 course meal if you’re staying 7+ nights. You won’t go hungry here, there’s food served virtually all day and night. Alcohol options were a let down however, one beer and pretty terrible spirits available to all inclusive guests and some very basic cocktails too. Branded beer and spirits all cost extra. Pool areas and the beach are excellent though, the slides are a fun addition too. There’s plenty going on throughout each day and night, and if you get the TUI blue app you can see the daily schedule and book various activities through that. The pianist in the lobby is very good and relaxing to listen too and the circus show on Sundays is not to be missed! Overall we had an enjoyable week here and would likely go back if the price was right :D PS hotel management: please order more toasters. One for a hotel this size is diabolical!

This hotel is amazing and the staff really make this place a memorable one 👌 Hotel- relatively big complex directly on beach . Beach- stunning private beach with lots of activities ( camel/horse riding, jet ski, boats)all reasonably priced Pools- pools are great and the slides are good fun for both kids and adults . The lifeguards are all really sweet and interact very well with the kids. Food- every night there was a massive selection with a different cuisine. All very fresh and always hot. Spa- bloody brilliant the ladies were all so professional Cleanliness- absolutely spotless always smelled so fresh Staff- the most memorable part of our holiday was the lovely staff . They were all so friendly and attentive . A real asset to this place .

Lovely 7 night stay booked with TUI. Catering for everyone and a clean well decorated hotel. Buffet selection and waiting staff were a credit to the hotel. Rooms were lovely and cleaned daily. Mini bar only holds milk and water so bring squash or drinks if you don’t want to pay for this. Kettle provided in rooms. Ala carte evening was well worth the visit and included in our booking. A few suggestions to management: More clothes hooks in rooms and bathrooms. Ours had none. Maybe consider an adult/ quiet zone only seating for buffet restaurant? Currently mixed and noisy at times Coffee place needs more cake selections like the desert table and it will be a success. The one at the snack bar was only open one hour with limited selection. Thea coffee place should have a bigger selection of biscuits and cakes as buffet closes at 2 till 6.30. We will be back as loved our stay and hope suggestions will be put into place
