Absolutely fantastic! I stayed for two nights, one in the Palace wing and one in the Tower wing. The hotel has a pool, a gym, and even morning yoga. Breakfast was plentiful too. Even though I visited Mumbai during the monsoon season and the sea wasn't the 'jellyfish-clear' type you find in Southeast Asia, it still evoked a charming old Shanghai vibe. The dessert shop at the very end of the hotel was also excellent. If I ever get the chance, I'll definitely stay here again. Oh, and the hotel beds were incredibly comfortable; as a light sleeper, it made me feel right at home. They also give out postcards and lucky coins upon departure, which are lovely souvenirs.

I stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel on my last night in India. It was a very good and clean hotel. Truly lives up to its reputation as Mumbai's number one luxury hotel. I'm especially grateful that the staff patiently explained things to me even though I don't speak English. The only minor downsides were the footsteps in the hallway and the car horns at night, which were a bit bothersome.

We loved everything about this hotel - it's luxurious, beautiful inside, service is impeccable and the staff are lovely. The pool area is gorgeous. The location is fantastic, close to many attractions and restaurants. It's an experience in itself staying here and feels like a treat.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful inside, over the top service, great food in the restaurants. A must stay if you are visiting Mumbai. Would recommend booking the half board as its great value and the food is top class.

We had a wonderful stay at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai. The staff service was exceptional, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The team was always checking if we needed anything or if housekeeping was required, which made us feel truly well looked after. The breakfast buffet staff were extremely attentive and helpful. They went out of their way to assist us and provide items we requested, even when they were not listed on the menu. Their goal was clearly to ensure that guests enjoy their meal and leave happy. A special mention goes to their unique Food Spa service, where hot water is provided for soaking the feet for relaxation. This service can be requested and is delivered to the room within around 20 minutes, which was a very thoughtful and relaxing experience. Thank you to the entire team for a memorable and pleasant stay.
