Marriot will never disappoint you.
Location is bit far but Tram is just 2 minutes away. Very convenient.

Arrive in München on a late flight, then take the train to Orleanspl, get off the train and arrive at the hotel at close to ten o'clock. After a while, the front desk finally showed us the room. When we entered the room, we saw that the toilet was leaking. I ignored the problem, put down my luggage and went out to have dinner. After eating, I returned to the hotel and felt that the room was very toasty. There was only heating but no air conditioning, and I still felt a little hot. The person who happened to have spent the night.
The next morning I needed to buy sanitary napkins, so I went to a nearby supermarket and bought some German sausages as souvenirs. When I returned to the hotel, I wanted to put food in the refrigerator, but the refrigerator was not frozen at all, so I had to call the front desk and ask them to send someone to take a look.
After waiting for a while, someone finally came. The technician finally said that it couldn't be fixed and he would ask the front desk to change our room. Because we were in a hurry, we didn’t go back to the hotel to change rooms until sunset.
The front desk couldn't get us the room card for some reason, so he had to ask his colleague to help us take the card and open the door. The colleague seemed a little ignorant of the situation and left after opening the door, but our luggage was still in the old room. After we explained the situation to him, he followed us to the old room, and we showed him the leaking problem in the toilet in the old room. The water leakage was very serious. We left in the afternoon and did not return to the room until sunset, but the water had already taken up half of the toilet. Anyway, after we finally moved our luggage to the new room, we had to go down to the front desk to get the new room card. A good time.
The next day, when we checked out, the staff said, "You change a room for one night?" The technician told you that the room change was OK before you changed it for us! It was this statement that made me think I don't need to come back to this hotel again.
Excellent service, comfy spacious room with wifi and all amenities. Very good breakfast offering large variety with highest quality. Only thing it is quite far from the city center but was close to our business destination. Not recommended for first time tourists looking to explore the city. Quiet location suitable for business travelers also far from shopping districts.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Rooms not over large, but adequate for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast buffet can be purchased for 23€, a wide choice of hot and cold food, cereals, juice, but only a basic coffee. We found no mention of room service, there was a small fridge in each room and a kettle for coffee and tea. For myself, it lacked a better bar and coffee area.

We are regular guests at this hotel as my son lives nearby. Location is great near Ostbanhof station. Great Italian restaurant around the corner. Rooms are large and functional. Staff are generally excellent, and the breakfast is good. There was a large amount of black mould in our shower indicating lack of maintenance and proper cleaning. There was a trolley filled with food debris left in the corridor near our room for two days. The main problem, here is undoubtedly housekeeping. On our first day a maid entered the room at 9 am without knocking and my husband was in the bathroom!. I sent her away. When we arrived back from our day our at 4pm the room had not been cleaned. The following day we arrived back at 3 pm and the room was still dirty. This is simply not good enough. I suspect the issue is staffing cuts. When we checked out the receptionist did not ask if we had a good stay. ( we are Marriott members) I had to ask if she wished to know! These problems need to be sorted out. Otherwise excellent hotel with great potential

Our stay at the München Ost Courtyard was one night in summer 2024 - rooms are renovated and very clean, if you take a room to the back also very quiet. - Check-In very friendly, a room upgrade was given, rooms were already available. - Location of the hotel is good - line 21 of tram takes you directly to the city centet in 15 minutes. Recommended for short stays, convenient and clean.

Good hotel in a convenient location. Good service, good breakfast. Rooms are fine, the decor is fine as well. Distance from train station (Ostbahnhof) very convenient, underground parking for those travelling by car. Food in the evening also fine.

We were here in end November and early December 2023, when the snowstorm hit. Room was reasonable spacious but slightly on the older side. Staff was very helpful except at checkout where we had a weird experience with one lady. It was while trains were still cancelled so we had to get a bus. The lady at the reception blankly told us there is no bus station in Munich when we asked her to book is a cab! We assumed it might a translation error so we showed her the bus booking ticket which was in German and she still stuck to it. Another gentleman intervened and told her the cab guy will know and to just call a cab. Then she resorted to repeating multiple times that cabs would take atleast 15-20 mins to come while we'd seen other residents get a cab in less than 5 mins while we were there talking to her, despite the snow. Not sure if she was having a bad day or something else. In addition, since we had to extend our trip due to the snow, the additional day cost is 300 euros! I know that's how hotel algorithms work, but it did leave a not so nice taste in the mouth.

I’m replacing a prior bad review. We had a rough check in due to a system error. They fixed it wonderfully and have been so kind. I’m grateful for their helpful attention and stellar service. The daily housekeeping is great. We’ve enjoyed breakfast, and the cook even makes bacon special the way we like it. 11/10. Thank you. Truly

I just checked into this hotel and reserved the grand suite a month ago. Upon check in they tried to trick me and gave me a junior suite (which is 200 sq ft smaller) for the same price as the grand suite I reserved a month ago!!! They didn’t even tell me they weren’t giving me the actual room I reserved and I had to go to the actual room to see it wasn’t the room I reserved. When I asked the front desk about it, they were not apologetic for not keeping the room I reserved and giving it away to someone else, but they had the audacity to make excuses (acting like I shouldn’t be upset) and only offered me a small discount for the cheaper and smaller room they put me in! Do not stay here. Not worth the price and there is no guarantee they will put you in the room type you actually reserved. Terrible experience. I felt entirely deceived.
