The hostel is super recommended! I was in Munich for 3 days, and I chose Wombat’s for staying 2 nights. The room for 6 ladies is really huge (compared to Berlin’s hostel), and it is super cozy! The location is great as well, very near to metro system and train station. The staffs were friendly to me, and luckily my roommates are also nice!

Right across from the train station, with authentic German restaurants nearby. It's not a long walk to the Old Town. However, the room itself was very basic, and unfortunately, I encountered some Europeans with strong body odor. The room's ventilation wasn't great, so the smell was quite noticeable.

Room - 8/10 - Good for solo/friends - Toilet clean - Got your own fan on the bunker bed - locker enough to fit 40L+ bag and also 2 hanged clothes Amenities - 7.5/10 - Great bar to relax - Amazing common area but quite smelly since next to guest kitchen - Public (Guest) Kitchen is quite busy because the fridge is always full with other guest foods - Affordable food at the small cafe - Wifi (just enough to watch YouTube) Location - 10/10 - Next to U-Bahn, S-Bahn and Tram - Halal foods is everywhere Overall - 9.5/10 will totally stay here again!

Unfortunately, the room (404) had a very intense mothball/naphthalene smell. But like VERY INTENSE. It was noticeable even before entering and was strong enough that all of my belongings absorbed the odor. It was quite unbearable at times and significantly affected the overall experience. I felt bad going out because I had the perception I smelled of naphthalene all the time. Aside from that, the hostel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean, with great storage and well-maintained facilities. The common areas are really cool and thoughtfully designed, and although the kitchen is small, it’s perfectly functional. I hope management looks into the ventilation or cleaning products used, because otherwise this would be a very enjoyable place to stay.

Everyone was quite considerate. I checked out early in the morning. The hotel is very close to the main train station. One thing to note is that the hotel no longer offers free luggage storage before or after check-in. You have to pay to store your belongings in a locker.

The location was nice, just right across the münchen hbf. There are several supermarkets down the station which was also very convenient. The staffs are lovely and very helpful with all the issues and questions! Highly recommend!

It's my second time staying here. I chose to return to stay here again because of its location that is so closed to central train station. There is the certain and small locker at the bed and we can choose any free bed !

I booked this hotel to be close to the train station, but the area around the station felt a bit sketchy at night with poorly lit streets. However, it's conveniently located near a Lidl. Overall, it was okay.

Knowing a bunch of new friends here, the staff was friendly and the kitchen is provided as well, there is billa mart nearby where you can get instant warm food or basic ingredients from, it inear the train station as well! Have a great time while staying here!

Good amenities and close proximity to transport system. Friendly staffs.

Only 4 people stay in the room although it can accommodate 8 people. Very convenient location.
