Best stay during our trip in Tuscany. Comfortable rooms, beautiful surroundings, quiet and peace. Recommended. Small village nearby where you can eat pizza. The hotel has its own restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.

As we were on a cycling holiday we were first attracted to this hotel bcause of its cycling 'credentials' and location on our planned route. It did though far exceed our expectations - the room was clean, modern and comfortable but the restaurant was a total surprise. We were expecting a family run restaruant with some good but standard Tuscan dishes. What we got was one of the culinary highlights of our 2 week stay which included many high class hotels and restaurants. Just shows how wrong you can be in looking at a website! Highly recommned a special trip to this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Great Tuscan hotel with easily the best view I've ever had in a countryside hotel. Sometimes when you travel the online photos are better than the actual hotel, but not here... the views, the rooms, the little town are even better in person! Out apartment is huge, very clean and nicely decorated. We are a family of five and there is so much room over two levels with full kitchen, two bathrooms, a master bedroom and a downstairs sleeping area with four more beds. There is a huge private patio where we ate breakfast daily and a gorgeous outdoor recreation area we played in at night. There is a clean pool, garden with swings, foosball, table tennis and a large grass area with sun beds and umbrellas. Everything is well maintained and clean. And the views!! I won't forget them, stunning!

The idea of being in the Tuscan countryside is beautiful until you spend a night at Bosco della Spina. We should’ve spent a little more and gone to another nearby property with more amenities. This property is located about 30 minutes outside of Siena, Taxis from Siena cost €70 each way. One must have a car if staying here. We were first turned off with their extremely uncomfortable bed and pillows. It was easier to sleep on the floor. Then guest services informed us of a €2 surcharge for extra towels for their pool. Seating is very limited in the pool area. Not much to do in the area and public transportation is very limited. The breakfast options are not worth the charge and the dinner is not great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bosco della Spina Country House. It was the highlight of our 15 day trip to Italy. The location is peaceful but with easy access to conveniences like a grocery store and pharmacy. It is an easy drive to many of Tuscany's beautiful wineries and hill towns. The staff are friendly and helpful. The amenities are beautiful - we especially enjoyed the gardens and pool. Our apartment was clean and tastefully appointed with beautiful finishes. We would happily revisit and will recommend it to friends and family.

We travelled as a family with our 2 kids (Age 6 and 2). We stayed for 3 nights in a Family Apartment room which was large, with an incredible view! The room and entire hotel was incredibly clean. The weather when we travelled was chilly/rainy for the time of year- so the pool roof was much appreciated! Super warm in there and the pool heated, so perfect for kids (and reluctant grown ups!). We had it to ourselves almost every day. There were beautiful outdoor seating areas, again which we had entirely to ourselves (probably due to the weather) and a lovely large indoor restaurant too. The staff (especially the Restaurant Manager and Chef) were so friendly and super accommodating. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel (stayed ahead of a family wedding so wanted total down time rather than exploring!). The breakfasts were delicious, with plenty of pastries/cakes/meats/breads/cheese/eggs/bacon/fruit/cereal/yoghurt to choose from. The dinner food was lovely, but the menu is the same for lunch and dinner, so slightly limited if your kids don't want to try lots of different options. We also picked up pizzas from a local pizzeria and brought them back and ate in the garden one evening whilst the kids played on the grass. From reception you can also purchase ice creams, beers, drinks etc during the daytime opening hours. Our room also had a small hob, fridge and sink- so we were able to make sandwiches, pasta etc for lunch or snacks too- (Bring your own with you unless you plan to visit a shop). Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone travelling with kids. (Though rest assured if you're not- we were the only ones with kids there and there is plenty of space to avoid kids if you want an adult/ romantic stay!)

Charming property in midst of magical Tuscany.

Wonderful place to stay for a week. Lovely clean apartments with easy access to the pool and restaurant area. Highly recommended for those wishing to explore the surrounding area and get a true feel for Tuscany.
