Let's start off with hygiene in this hotel, the table and sofa in my room have some unremovable stains which I don't dare to use. The above is probably the worst part about my stay here I'm okay with eating the local way by sitting on the bed but the presence of the untidiness was an eyesore. There are always tiny red spots on my towels and bedsheets so I always have to tell the staff to change it, quite irritating. The all in one body wash smelled kinda odd, the longer you use it the more you'll find it unpleasant. A clear design flaw on the restroom as well because there is no doors for the shower, meaning water would just leak all over the floor while you clean yourself. Furthermore, I was told due to security policy, neither the Talabat driver nor the hotel staff can bring the food delivery to my room, which is sort of inconvenient for me.
On a brighter note, all of the staffs here seemed friendly and helpful, hardworking people from what I observed. Though keep in mind after your call to the front desk the wait might be slightly lengthy.
Prices for my stay is fair. My local guide Muhammad Albalushi told me the price was superb. The breakfast is the best element of this hotel, they knew I love the fried mushrooms the most and specially organized it for me! The food was refreshing and the view is decent. I met the Omani National Women Basketball team at the canteen as well, best of luck girls!
Another super nice part is the swimming pool, a fantastic place for social gathering. Both my experiences led me to very hospitable Omani friends! Nothing beats floating on the water during a Muscat sunset.
