When I first saw the Parador I felt bad for the mountain it was placed on. Apparently Spain/Parador organization found it suitable to place it so far from the town that you have to take a decent hike / taxi just to get anywhere. There is no sunset view, the pool is off limits and serves as a fishtank without fish not to mention that it has the a**osphere of a Steven King novel. The spa has no complementary drinks and they give you an hour and a half time window to rush through all the different attributes. Apparently this “luxury” hotel was gifted after a big disaster but I would argue that the parador itself is a bigger disaster, at least you can clean up the oil spill, this f*****g thing will be there until the end of days. Big saving grace is it’s very kind and professional staff, also the rooms are nice but when you walk out on the balcony you realize that it’s just a daycare for rich people. The food is bland but good quality ingredients. If your biggest attraction is the f*****g elevator, you know something is wrong. The whole building should be repurposed as a migrant center so it at least contributes some good to the world. The parador stands in sharp contrast to the beautiful town of Muxia ☯️

A brilliantly designed eco-friendly building that melts into the wild landscape. An amazing experience with great food.

The hotel is a contemporary design property overlooking a beautiful bay. Its rooms have amazing views and they are bright and spacious. I loved the location because you had the feeling, as a European that you have reached the "end of the world" from there on only the Atlantic ocean. It's incredible

Fantastic location, modern facilities and nice design. Service and a**osphere cold and indifferent. We recommend the hotel just for the location and scenery. expected more from the food outlets, but no luck.

Unique treat after walking the Camino to Santiago. Beautiful area and the hotel is beautifully designed with great use of space. Nothing feels crowded. The views are shown to maximum advantage. Funicular lift is something special. Half-board was good value. Be aware the hotel is fairly out of the way with no shops etc in the immediate vicinity - Muxia is 4km away across a gorgeous pure sand beach. Would love to be here while a big storm was going on outside, it would be great to watch!

This possibly our favourite parador (as of now). The location overlooking the bay is fantastic and the design of the hotel itself is amazing. Our standard room was huge with a large balcony, very comfortable bed and great bath. All the rooms overlook the sea. It's a 30 minute walk to Muxia or a 6-8 euro taxi ride - there's no bus service. The staff are lovely and very helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The only downside was the restaurant. It seemed to double as a conference room and lacked a bit of a**osphere as it's a huge space with terrible lighting. However the bar/cafe overlooking the pool serves food until after 10pm and we enjoyed a good (and less formal) evening there.

A stylish and modern hotel, with a superb location overlooking the sea and a bay with a sandy beach. Rooms are strikingly furnished. Lifts are funicular style (not vertical), and initial impression is very dramatic. However, despite being a new hotel, we could hear noise in our room from the adjacent room, even when they were just talking. There was also an odd noise from the air-conditioning(? ), and the light switches were impossible for us (and our friends) to figure out. Biggest issue was in the restaurant. Signs to restaurant - level 2 - are actually to the breakfast room, while the evening meal is served in "the conference room" !!! We ordered a bottle of red wine, which came to the table pre-opened and with some of the wine already missing !!!!!

All rooms have uninterrupted view of beach and headland of Muxia so there is little to choose between the. We stayed in a standard room which was very spacious allowing us to spread out. Each room has a terrace too so you can sit outside and get even closer to the stunning scenery. Food great, service great, 45 degree lifts an eye opener. Personally I prefer the bathroom to be separated from the bedroom, but that is my choice
