Indus Valley Ayurvedic Centre, Mysore is a dream come true wellness destination. Away from home I found a home better to give me all pleasure of well being. (I was immotional to leave.) I would love to stay in vast forestation of Chamundi Hills - serene and peaceful rest of my life. I'm 70. Search no more, you can't find better.

I spent one month at IVAC and have been home for two months. I waited to write the review so that I could experience the full benefits of the program. I have continued my treatment from home with the supplements and oils I was given. I really suffered a lot with back pain and pelvic floor issues. I can say that I my pelvic floor is 99% healed and the back pain has been greatly reduced. My time spent at IVAC was magical. I did not know much about India and Ayurveda but the website and TA reviews helped me walk into this unknown and I am better for it. The clinic and grounds are beautiful. I would recommend splurging on the A/C rooms as it gets too hot for someone from a NJ climate to sustain spending that much time in the heat. The treatments were top knotch and my recommendation would be to listen to your doctor and do what they say. You will be better for it. I felt very taken care of from my doctor and the staff. A big plus were the cows and dogs on the property. They gave me a giggle every day and kept me company on my daily walks. Do yourself a favor and get healed without all the ***** and surgery that was my western doctors had said I needed. This is a much safer and healthier way to heal.

IVAC was recommended to me by a friend several years ago. Since I live in the USA and have had health issues treated using western medicine, I was keen to be introduced to the collective knowledge of 5,000 years of Ayurveda. My goals were to experience and the various treatments offered and learn about nutrition to suit my body and make changes in my own lifestyle. IVAC proved to be a wonderful experience. Guests are welcomed and immediately embraced as part of the family. The setting was peaceful and idyllic and the cottage accommodation was comfortable. Making friends with fellow guests and the occasional game of tennis was a wonderful bonus. Every person involved from Dr. Deepthi Niranjan, Ms. Pratima, the staff in the front, dining room, yoga and treatment rooms took the trouble to get to know me and enhance my individual experience. A big shout-out to Mr. Chethan who led my Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Patra Pinda Sweda and other treatments and always went above and beyond. I came with a painful knee issue, which after 3 days of treatments was completely healed. Finally, I was incredibly lucky to be treated by Dr. Jaseem Mohammad, who is a most kind and compassionate person. He answered all my questions patiently, taught me about ideal nutrition and customized my treatments daily.
