Nalagi Hotel

It was alright, quite affordable and close to the airport, but the hygiene wasn't great. There's a Chinese restaurant nearby which was convenient for food and drinks, though the prices there were a bit high.

I suspect the sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases aren't changed between guests. The pillowcase looked like it hadn't been washed after being used multiple times. Housekeeping was also very slow; I had to ask three times to get the sofa bed made up. Early check-in costs extra, and the elevator also has issues; the doors often don't open automatically and you have to push them open manually.

The hotel isn't too far from the pier or the airport. There's a free shuttle service from the pier, and the breakfast was decent. This hotel seems to have a lot of Indian guests, and it's more like a budget hotel you'd find back home, not a resort. However, the view from the top floor is quite nice.

The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport and 15 minutes from the ferry terminal. Downstairs, there's a Chinese restaurant with decent food. If you head right out of the hotel, you'll find a McDonald's, and to the left, there's a supermarket. There's also a bus stop right outside, and a ride to town costs just 1 Fijian dollar per person, which is great. They have staff to help with luggage during check-in and check-out. The breakfast was alright, and the person making the omelets was very nice.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The only downside was the unpleasant odor in the bathroom, which we couldn't get rid of even with the exhaust fan and air conditioning running all day. The hotel should really look into solving this persistent bathroom smell issue. We were very satisfied with the hotel's location, surroundings, and the Chinese restaurant downstairs. We even made a special trip back to eat there after moving to a resort in Denarau. I didn't take any photos of the hotel, so the uploaded pictures are from the island club.

The hotel's location is great, with the only McDonald's in Nadi just downstairs, so you don't have to worry about food and drinks. It's quite convenient. The room was spacious. The bedding was fine and clean, but! The main issue was the bathroom! There were so many small cockroaches! I have no idea where they came from, it was horrifying! Absolutely disgusting!!

Nalagi Hotel is a 4-star hotel that offers great value for money. I had a very satisfying stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there's a Chinese restaurant next door. Plus, a McDonald's 🍔, a large supermarket, and a Western fast-food restaurant are all nearby, which is very convenient. The room came equipped with a hairdryer, shower cap, soap, shower gel, conditioner, refrigerator, and tissues. You'll need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste (which is pretty standard for most hotels anyway).
