No ice machine, which is a definite con. The space between the bed and the counter was a bit too narrow. The young person at the front desk had a bad attitude and wasn't very helpful, but everyone else's service was good.

some rooms have constant noise from ventilation fans. traffic, neighboring air conditioners, and neighbouring conversations are also audible. the non-smoking room smelled fine. the smoking room smelled like a broken vacuum (like the vacuum aerated particles from the floor). the breakfast is a bento box, i don't recommend it. there's free tea, coffee, and water in the lobby & it's quality, i recommend it. there's a supermarket next to the gondo station ~800meters away. yanagimachi danchi bus stop is ~350meters away, the 51 bus goes to nagano station. nagano station is ~1.5km.

Location is a bit far from the JR station. Good that there are plenty of option for convenience store. Most of all, the staff's are very friendly. We also love the coffee!

I went here and check-in a bit late this time (around 9pm) but their still have staff to support at front. Hotel is around 20 mins walk from Nagano station

Very Good Place So nice

The room was very nice - sufficiently large and with all necessary amenities (even a small fridge). The room was clean and in good condition. The staff was very kind and stored my luggage for free, as I arrived early in the morning. The hotel is conveniently located, yet in a rather quiet place. It's a walking distance from both Nagano station and Zenkoji temple (approximately 20-25 minutes), however, do note that the nearest bus stop is about 900 meters away, so if you got a lot of luggage and do not intend to get a taxi, that may be a bit far. They also have coin operated washing machines and dryers, in case you need them. Overall, a great option for most travelers, especially in terms of value for money.

The walls are thin, and you can hear voices from the next room. Web conferences are not possible in this room.

It's within walking distance of Zenkoji Temple, making it convenient for attending the morning service. From Nagano Station, it's best to walk from Gondo Station on the Nagano Electric Railway or take a bus from Shiyakusho-mae (City Hall) bus stop; it takes less than 10 minutes on foot. There is a free parking lot on the premises (be careful of cars sticking out), although the number of spaces is limited, and you can use it by registering your license plate number at check-in. Yukata (Japanese robes) and amenities other than towels are picked up by yourself in front of the reception desk, and the tea and coffee drink bar is also self-service. The rooms have automatic locks and card-operated facilities, but you open and close them with a key, and you leave the key at the front desk when you go out. There was a sign stating that receipts cannot be issued for payments made through the website.

There were signs of water seepage and adhesive failure on the wall and ceiling. The chair in the room was a small stool, which was uncomfortable to sit on. However, the reception staff were very kind and provided attentive and considerate service.

As is common with chain stores, this is likely to be a point where opinions differ depending on the person. The electronic lock system was disabled, and the automatic lock required manual unlocking. When going out, luggage was left at the front desk. There was a notice stating that receipts would not be issued for payments made through the booking website.

It's an older, well-established hotel. It's perfectly fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep. It's about a 1300 yen taxi ride from Nagano Station.
