"Near JR station. The twin room was very spacious. Since we only stayed 2 nights, they didn't clean the room, which meant no bottled water or towel refills. Couldn't open the window, and the soundproofing wasn't great. It's a 10-minute walk to Nagasaki Port."

★★ 9.2 (54 reviews)

"Honestly one of my favourite hostels in Japan, there’s not any social life as seems to be the standard here but the rooms are spacious light and bright, the beds are comfy and there’s loads of shelf space and a locker and lots of sockets in your bunk area so it feels super comfortable and accommodating. Location is great for exploring Nagasaki for a few days. Kitchen and living area is nice to cook & chill in and free toast in the morning is a cute way to start the day. Would have stayed longer! (Oh and absolutely make sure you get up to Mt Inasa Observatory for the nighttime views STUNNING)"

"We only stayed for one night to celebrate Father's Day, but we had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, it was rainy and windy when we arrived, so some of the outdoor amenities were closed. Despite that, there were still plenty of recreational facilities available for guests to enjoy. Our kids had a great time at the Kids Play Land, Kujira, and Ark Land Spa. We also thoroughly enjoyed the seasonal dinner buffet. It was our first time having unlimited snow crab legs at a dinner buffet on a regular weekend, which was a pleasant surprise. One of the highlights was the unlimited freshly made sushi, prepared by the chef right in front of us. The quality and freshness were excellent, and it made the dining experience even more special. The Japanese breakfast was excellent as well. We usually expect a simple breakfast with sausages, eggs, and bread, but the variety and quality were much better than we anticipated. We also appreciated having the option to choose from different restaurants, and we're glad we chose the Japanese restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and provided outstanding service throughout our stay. The unlimited drinks were definitely worth it, not only was coffee available, but there were also unlimited Aquarius, lattes, and other beverages. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place. We look forward to coming back again with our family!"

"An excellent stay, not to say unforgettable!!!! The room is very comfortable and refurbished as is the entire hotel. The service is perfect and the staff very pleasant and even endearing with a desire to serve the best even if they do not speak English....thanks "google translate".😁 The bed is very comfortable with two types of pillows. In short, an ideal rest. Also close to bus stops that serve the historical places to visit."

Hotel Saint Hill Nagasaki ★★
"The facilities are a bit old, but the breakfast is great, and there's free coffee and juice. It's within a 10-minute walk of Nagasaki Station, and the surrounding environment is quiet and nice. If you're driving, the shared parking is inconvenient. Check-in from 3 PM to 10 PM costs 1000 yen; other times are at your own expense. It's better to choose the 24-hour rental next door, which also has a maximum charge of 1000 yen."

THE GLOBAL VIEW NAGASAKI ★★★★★
"17min walk from Hakata JR train station. Facing the very tranquil Naka river. Entry to building and room is by following email instructions and QR code and is easy. Room clean, everything in its place. Beds & pillows comfortable and clean. Everything works- including ironing board with iron, hairdryer, all kitchen amenities and tv (local channels). We awoke to blue skies and the peacefulness overlooking river is beautiful to experience. Absolute silence as there are no roads nor crowds. A very pleasant stay. PS: only one issue - during the night, there was a periodic doorbell ‘ding-dong’ which unfortunately woke me up 3 times. It wasn’t our room, I even went out door but could not identify origin. I am a light sleeper, but the rest of the family slept thru it."

Casa Blanca Guesthouse ★★
"The hostel is nice with a nice layout that gives you some privacy. However since every bed has its own light people just kept it on the whole night so I couldn’t sleep. Also the dormitory is small and showers and toilets are inside the room and people started to use the hairdryer early in the morning. The owners are nice tho, and when I complaint they gave me an eye mask as a gift which was very thoughtful. Location is great."

HOTEL URO ★★★
"It is located a short walk from Nagasaki Station on tram No. 1 and get off at Shianbashi. It feels like a normal guest house. It was a beautiful guest house that seemed to be new. It was a little noisy at night because there was a drinking street. I think it's a good place to sightsee."
