When I checked in, I was surprised to see a woman wearing a Taisho Roman style arrow pattern and hakama. His demeanor is relaxed and truly retro. Impatient people may get irritated. Everything is Japanese retro. The lobby and the hallway that runs through the garden are truly retro. The scenery looked like something you could see in a historical drama. There are 3 baths. The two bathrooms are divided into a men's bath and a women's bath depending on the time of day. The open-air baths are separate for men and women, with separate entrances. Meals are taken in the dining hall, and the pillars and beams of this dining hall are reminiscent of a castle. At breakfast, the woman in yesterday's hakama and kimono was wearing a black dress and white apron. It was a Taisho romantic maid costume. Dinner includes 3 seasonal matsutake mushroom dishes. I had a relaxing time for the first time in a while.

When I parked the car, the staff came over and helped me right away. The staff seemed to be well trained, but it felt a bit mechanical and manual. I asked for a Japanese-Western room with an open-air bath because I was bringing along an elderly person. The room was spacious, but the entrance space, washroom, and toilet were cramped and inconvenient. There was a top and bottom set like a work robe, not a yukata, but it looked like a medical examination gown, so I didn't feel like wearing it. There was no shower in the open-air bath, so when I washed in the unit bath, there was a gap under the door and water flowed outside, and I got soaked, so please be careful. (I wish they had said something.) The fun of traveling is the food, but it was not something I wanted to eat at all. Maybe they've learned their lesson, but they're too decorated, or they ignore the quality of the ingredients. Each dish was too assertive, and there was no harmony, and there was nothing to cleanse the palate. The color was black, and there was no gaiety or comfort. As I continued to eat, it got heavier, and as for the meat at the end, it's not good to just put anything on, whether it's beef or pork. The cow was a rubber-like thing for the elderly. The finishing touch should have been curry or miso chazuke! The cuisine should have been something that made the most of the wonderful ingredients of Tateshina. The food at the inn I stayed at the day before was simple and gentle, using ingredients from the mountains, so perhaps that was why I didn't like it so much. I probably won't be visiting again.

I used it late the night before because I had a business from the morning of the next day. It is a very ordinary business hotel. There is no need or no need. What I thought was not necessary was breakfast. This time, I was able to stay at a fairly cheap price in the plan with breakfast, but 1200 yen is too high with that quality. If you are worried about what to do with breakfast, I will never recommend it. The meal itself is also rough, but the distance from the next seat is narrow, and there is no partition with acrylic plates, so it is a distance that is concerned in the crowded time zone. It may be a setting that doesn't talk during meals, but the venue is small, so the distance from the next door is too close, and I hesitated to use it. It was good to have a paper cup so that you can bring coffee back to the room. Parking is supposed to use the municipal parking lot next door, but it is more convenient to park on the third floor connected to the deck of the station for those with a lot of luggage.

佐久平駅に最も近いビジネスホテルです。ホテル内の清潔感、バスルームを含めた各部屋の狭さ、バスルームの設備がやや古いところは他のビジネスホテルでも多く見られる項目で、それらに慣れていれば特に不愉快と感じることはないでしょう。佐久平駅周辺もいくつか商業施設はあるものの基本的に静かであるため、夜間は特に騒がしさを感じることなく快適に過ごすことが出来ると思います。 一方、部屋数と比較するとエレベーターが一基しかないのは、部屋へ行く、あるいは1階に降りる上で待たされることが多く、少し不便に感じます。エレベーターのかご内も狭く荷物を持っていない状態の人が10人乗れるくらいの広さであるため、大きめのスーツケースを持っている場合、エレベーターに乗れず一層待たされることも少なくありません。 ホテルの周辺は飲食店がいくつかありますが、深夜帯は勿論夜間は閉まっている店が多いです。そのため深夜帯の食事はコンビニ等で調達する必要がありますが、周辺にコンビニが無く、最も近くて徒歩で5分程。悪天候時は食料を調達してからチェックインした方がいいかもしれません。 This is the business hotel to closest Sakudaira Station. Therefore, you need to be procured late night meals at convenience stores, but there are no convenience stores in the area. The closest one is about a 5-minute walk away. In bad weather, you might want to get some food before you check in.

It was a revisit after a long time. The deterioration of the building cannot be hidden, but there is a microwave oven in each room and a hotel that is easy to spend as usual. The special thing that changed this time is breakfast. Until now, it was a form of selection from the Japanese style in the breakfast set. It seemed to have been renewed and it was a Viking form. It is 800 yen per person, but the content is more than its value. The salad is paris paris local vegetables and dressing is also authentic. ~7min walk from Matsumoto station with many food options nearby, on usual days. We went on 31 Dec to 1 Jan and the streets were empty; shops were 99% closed, except for Parco / big malls. Hotel staffs were super helpful and friendly. I loved the shoe locker concept at the main entrance of the hotel; you lock your shoes and go barefooted around the hotel. Hotel staff assisted to check on available restaurant opening hours, as well as reservation on 31 Dec since we weren't sure if places were open. Onsen (both indoor and outdoor) was the best, coupled with complimentary laundry facility (dryer at 100yen). Shampoo and body wash were all available for use. There are vending machines at the common area outside the bathroom. Complimentary ramen at night (do check with the hotel on the timing). Soba over new year's countdown at midnight was yummy. Wonderful overall experience. Will explore Onyado in other cities in future!

Less than 5 minutes walk from JR station, my moderate twin room is very spacious and comes with a work desk. Beddings are very comfortable and plenty of amenities are provided. They even have complimentary supper service at night. We didn't get to try the breakfast but they look great with a lot of varieties. This is a great place to stay in Matsumoto.
