Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam

Very friendly & warm service from this hotel all staff, we felt very pleasant & have a wonderful time during our stay 3days. They give us free hightea & free pastries during our stay and it’s delicious. The buffet breakfast have many variety of choices & very delicious (a must try) location is fantastic as next block is Grand Batam Mall, many restaurant & shop just 5min walking distance. Also many good massage center nearby. By grab go Nagoya hill mall or love seafood & etc .. all within few minute reach. We Will definitely stay again when we back Batam 🤠

Wonderful Stay at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Mall – Highly Recommended! This was our second stay at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Mall and once again, it exceeded our expectations. I booked through Trip.com as it offered the best rates compared to other platforms and the experience was seamless from start to finish. We stayed from 23–26 May 2026 as a family of 3 adults and 2 young children (aged 4 and 3). This time, we booked a 1-Bedroom Executive and an Executive King with connecting rooms, which was perfect for both family bonding and privacy. The location is excellent—directly opposite Grand Batam Mall, making shopping, dining and entertainment incredibly convenient. Our kids especially enjoyed Kidzlandia & Batam Zoo Paradise! The hotel is also next to Eska Wellness Spa where you can enjoy massages, hair treatments, manicures and pedicures. Even before arrival, the service was impressive. I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp for a few special requests and the staff were professional, responsive and genuinely accommodating. What we loved most about the 1-Bedroom Executive: • Spacious and spotlessly clean room • 2-in-1 washer and dryer — extremely convenient for families • Kitchenette with microwave & fridge • Hot and cold water dispensers available at every lift lobby • Kids’ pool that our children absolutely loved • Plenty of storage space • Smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, and more • Breakfast was awesome with a wide variety to choose from This time, we were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary hi-tea, which made our afternoons extra special. Every staff member—from the front desk and housekeeping team to the chefs, waiters and bellboys—provided exceptional service with warmth and friendliness throughout our stay. Our family truly enjoyed every moment here and we will definitely be coming back again. Oakwood never fails to enchant me with it being the best hotel for hospitality, cleanliness, and location in my opinion. Love everything about Oakwood. The bathroom too! My 3rd time in Oakwood and this time i got the room with the best sunset sighting.! My stay in Dec 2025 i had the room where i saw amazing sunrise!! Im planning my 4th stay with Oakwood already!!!

The hotel is in a great spot, right in the middle of Batam. It's awesome that it's connected to Grand Batam Mall, which is one of the biggest malls there and has tons of different food options I didn't even get to try because our stay was so short. As a gym person, it's a real treat to find a hotel gym with a squat rack these days.

Booked 6 rooms for trip with friends - the hotel did arrange for 4 rooms to be on the same level. Location is excellent for taking grab to anywhere. Have massage places nearby. The breakfast buffet was also excellent!

We stayed at Oakwood Hotel n Apartments 3 times. But this time round we stayed in their 2 bedroom executive suite. To us, Oakwood is the best hotel in Batam. Location is superb. Close to Batam Grand Mall, eateries and massage spas. Strongly recommended to book their Studio and 2 bedrooms suites. Rooms are very clean, cosy, nicely furnished and decorated, enough n conducive lightings, nice matching colours and new furniture n fittings. Very comfortable bed n pillows. Very nice n modern toilet/shower amenities. Strong aircon. Lots of TV channels, with Netflix n Youtube. Buffet bfast average. But inroom dining foods are nicer and better in taste. Customer service by all the staff are awesome. Strongly recommended.

It's a shame all i would like abt this hotel ruined by knocking noise frm the widow facade. This noise would surfaced approximately 7am local time and would last several hours. Since my check-in was after 3pm, i did not notice this noise on first day. As i am out almost the entire day, i had only realised this noise had developed into a pattern only on my last day checkout. Room change is already inconvenient at this point. We all been to hotels with sun facing windows, please don't lean on weather conditions that this noise generated frm it. Room 809, guys. Your welcome. Trip would not allow video upload to show for it.

Convenient, clean, and friendly! Loved the location – right next to Grand Mall, so everything was within walking distance. Rooms were clean, staff were warm and helpful, and breakfast had a great variety. Solid value for a city stay. Highly recommend!
