Do not book this apartment.
I had a very bad experience staying at Sleep Rest @ Nagoya Mansion. This was one of the worst stays I’ve had, and I would not recommend it.
First, the customer service was extremely poor. Upon arrival, I went to the reception to collect the access card, but it was not available. I tried contacting the owner multiple times but received no response. Only the next day did the owner finally reply and asked me to collect the access card from reception, which caused unnecessary inconvenience.
Second, the unit was very dusty and clearly not cleaned before our arrival. The owner claimed cleaning is only done once a week, which is unacceptable for new guests. We complained several times, especially about the bathroom, which was extremely dirty and even had a dead cockroach. Only after repeated complaints did a cleaner come to tidy up. The towel provided also got a bad smell. Request additional towel and pillow but owner refused to provide.
Third, out of three air conditioners, only the one in the living room was working. We informed the owner, and although a technician came, the issue was not resolved. Although the owner did provide the stand fan but we had to sleep in a hot room for three nights, which was very uncomfortable.
Additionally, the bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell, and the TV was not functioning at all. The WIFI was not functioning on the 2nd day of our stay The lights for both rooms were not functioning as well. Only few were functional which make the room very dark.
Overall, the unit is old, poorly maintained, and not a pleasant place to stay. Very disappointing experience. I would not return.
