Place is very near to Grand Batam Mall, room is spacious and they even had an upgrade to the lifts from the previous time i booked there

It good and convenient hotel , the room is clean. All is walking distance around and 2 malls nearby.

This hotel boasts an ideal location, offering easy access to diverse dining options, local markets, and major shopping malls. For relaxation, there are many massage shops close by. Food lovers will appreciate the abundance of Indonesian and Chinese culinary choices. The area is anchored by two key malls, Grand Mall and Batam City Mall, and includes a large food court that is open late into the evening.

The hotel stay was amazing, greeted with smiles and helpful staff. A very clean and spacious room with the city view. They had 2 lifts and they were fast with little waiting time. The hotel has been maintained very well. Will highly recommend travellers to experience.

Everything is good , only thing is now they are painting the facade so need to draw curtains as there are workers on scaffold outside your window during day time.

I had a pleasant stay at 89 Hotel Batam. The location is very good and convenient for getting around. Breakfast offers many choices, which was a nice start to the day. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the hanging clothes area is set too high — even at 170 cm tall, it was still difficult to reach. Lowering it would make it much more user-friendly.

The location is good. It is basically 3 minutes walk to the Batam Grand Mall and surrounding eateries. The service was great too. But when it comes to the hotel, I would rate the amenities/facilities as bad. First, there is no smart tv but a cabled TV with low, bad resolution. The bathroom is not well designed where the whole bathroom is flooded after taking a shower. There is no great separation between the toilet and the shower area. The head shower cannot be adjusted, so good luck on adjusting the temperature without getting burned lol. And the bathroom has no hooks for your clothes, towel. You’re resorted to put your clothes on the toilet bowl lid or the sink area given that it is dry. Then the air-conditioner is not well maintained, something kept trembling and making sounds. Luckily I was exhausted enough to knock me out at night. So whoever thinks that the bad things mentioned above are deal breaker for you, I would suggest choose another. Perhaps an additional $10 would save you. The review is bombed, I would honestly just give this a 2.5/5. Nothing personal just my criticism.

We went here for 4D3N. We were told by the receptionist that we were not given the free breakfast for the 3 days cos when ******* took over the TRIP.COM, we were not given any. But surprisingly on our last day, before we checked out, we went for breakfast and were told that our room was inside the list. No other amenities aside from the room. No swimming pool and gym around too. The security guard was good and friendly. There's 2 shopping malls but you need to walk at least 10-15mins if you know the way.
