Aston Nagoya City Hotel

I was recommend a nearbt hotel but decided to book Aston which is a mistake. Front desk staff and F&B staff was friendly and professional . However, the housekeeping was not on par. My first room had small roaches crawling in the bathroom. Reported to the front desk and they sent someone who came to check but “didn’t see anything”. Obviously the roaches moved around and wouldn’t stay still for your inspection, no? Luckily I recorded a video and showed him. They didn’t offer to switch room UNTIL I asked for it. The second room had no pest issue but the light in the middle of the room couldn’t be off. It was almost 1am in the morning and I couldn’t find the switch. They offered to check but I was too tired to entertain them. In summary, I wouldn’t be returning to this hotel anymore.

Hotel was clean with courteous staff and nice window view. Buffet breakast included and location surrounded with many eateries outside the hotel. Will stay at this hotel again if I am going back there again. Highly recommend.

A lot of eateries places that open till local time 11pm only. No mall within walking distance, needs to grab (very convenient to grab a car and competitive). Room space is relatively much smaller as compared to Aston Inn at Baloi. Staffs are great, from reception, room cleaner, doorbell, etc. No pool.

The location is good . There is many amenities near the hotel . The hotel breakfast buffet have many varieties of food and the staff is friendly.

Always good to stay. Nearby with lots of restaurants. Breakfast is exceptional!

Very convenient location, lots of food stalls and has Convenient shop just behind the hotel. Breakfast spread is nice.

Good location at the heart of Nagoya Thamrin. Surrounded by many eateries, massage place and entertainment outlets. Rooms are clean and spacious with basic amenities. Comfortable bed and pillows. Stable high speed WiFi unlike some of the other accomodations I've been recently. Breakfast was satisfactory with reasonable variety of food.

The location is good and near to many eateries and coffee shops. Getting around is easy through ride hailing and the fares are inexpensive. One thing I find irritating is how the light switches were located, particularly for the toilet lightings. The switch was placed besides the room entrance. There is no switch anywhere else to control the toilet lightings, not even outside the toilet entrance.
