Older style Japanese hotel, in need of an update, however perfectly fine for a few days stay. Solo room was typically small, bed was adequate. WiFi was patchy at best, sometimes it would drop out. Toilet and shower was compact but functional. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and were the highlight, always willing to help. Room cleaning was only every couple of days and you have to tell the front desk (rather than sign on door in most hotels). Also the room key was an actual old school key. There is also an onsen on one floor, if you want to have the experience. Location is absolutely perfect for the temple and shopping at Osu Shotengai. Will stay there again.

1. The location is excellent, right next to Osu Kannon Station and the shopping street entrance. It's very convenient for daily life, and getting to Nagoya Station or Sakae is easy. 2. The service is great; they even offer hand warmers when you head out. The first-floor lounge is free to use in the afternoons, with some simple drinks and a good selection of free manga and board games. The bathhouse is on the second floor, with one for men and one for women. However, only one has a sauna and toilet, while the other just has showers and a smaller soaking tub. They swap them for different genders morning and evening. 3. The rooms are a bit small; I'd recommend checking the official room information for square footage. The bathroom ceiling might drip due to an air conditioning issue. For stays beyond a certain number of days, there's a corresponding cleaning schedule, which guests are asked to choose upon check-in. 4. Given the price and location, it's perfect for solo travelers or two or three friends, each staying in their own room.

The room was really small and a bit old, but it was very clean. The front desk offered a lot of toiletries. Exiting right, you're right at the Osu Shopping Street, but it gets very quiet at night.

The hotel is clean and well-equipped with amenities. However, it seems renovations haven't been done recently, as there were tears and scratches on the hallway wallpaper. The room door also felt old, not opening and closing smoothly. The public bath and the breakfast steak were good.

It's great to have a choice of meals. For those who want a hearty meal, I recommend it as you can even choose steak for breakfast. They also had salads and dried daikon, which I enjoyed.

This is a go-to stay whenever I find myself in Nagoya; extremely close to Osu-Kannon Station, with Osu Shotengai about a block away. Super convenient as either home base while in Nagoya or to enjoy/explore the Osu neighborhood. Pro tip: stay the 17th of any month to get up early and hit the Osu-Kannon temple market on the 18th of the month; it's literally outside the hotel doors and is a treasure trove of vintage ceramics, fabrics and other treasures.

The hotel is a bit old and worn out. Second floor is newly renovated but unfortunately it is a double bed room so we cannot book it for single traveler. Reception is helpful and can speak fluent English. Very thoughtful to give us a warm drink during a freezing night when we checked in.

Hotel was walking distance to the train station, at the edge of the Osu shopping district. Service was great - staff were very polite. There is a sauna in the hotel which is well-equipped and clean. Only issue was aircon was not cold or hot enough when it needed to be and I couldn't adjust it. Also, toilet was very very small and hard to move around when showering.

This place is super close to Osu Kannon Station, and the bed was really clean. The staff were great too; they even gave me a heat pack when I checked out and saw me off. However, I did notice some stains on the floor and a lot of small pieces of paper lying around, which was a bit of a letdown.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Osu Kannon. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but they have all the basic amenities. My favorite part was the spacious and comfortable public bath. They even gave a small gift at checkout to thank guests for their stay.

The location is very ideal because just steps away from OSU Shopping district, however the operating hours open late like 11/11:30am then close early like 6-7pm. So best is go during the day. Dining options are limited as the area closes very early. Have to walk a block north to find more dining and bars. The hotel indicated open in 2015 and renovated in 2016 but overall is very out-dated like hotels back in 80/90s. Photos a bit misleading. It looks normal but very out-run in physical condition.
