Although it's a JR West hotel, this one is a bit too far from Nagoya Station. You have to cross several roads, and the overall experience isn't as good as JR East Mets Hotel, which is directly connected to the station. I booked this hotel for the convenience of catching an early train, and I was very disappointed. The hotel is a bit old, and the front desk is small, but they have self-checkout machines which are quite convenient. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right next to the lobby, making it easy to grab a late-night snack or breakfast for the next day. The room size is decent. I'm not sure why the kettle and the table with an outlet and seating are placed in two separate areas. There are no tea sets in the room; you have to get them downstairs yourself. As an economy option, it's passable, but as a JR hotel, it doesn't really stand out.

The double room was larger than expected; there was definitely enough space to open a 30-inch suitcase. The eel rice set for breakfast was tasty, though there weren't many other options. It's about a 10-minute walk straight down the road to Meitetsu Station.

It's a 10-minute walk from the Shinkansen exit. The hotel has a convenience store on the ground floor, which is very handy for grabbing water and Haagen-Dazs. The hotel breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of choices.

The hotel is a straightforward 10-minute walk from the station, very easy to find. The facilities are new, and the room is quite spacious – we could lay out two suitcases comfortably. It's great that toiletries, tea, and coffee are available for self-service in the lobby. Plus, there's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk. I'd definitely choose this place again.

I really enjoyed my stay at VIA INN Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi! The location is excellent — it’s very close to Nagoya Station, just about a 10-minute walk away, so getting around the city is super convenient. There’s a Family Mart right downstairs and a Lawson within 3 minutes’ walk, which is very handy. The area also has plenty of great places to eat, including several ramen shops. One pleasant surprise was discovering a huge Aeon supermarket just a 10-minute walk away — and it’s open 24 hours! Perfect for grabbing late-night snacks or doing some quick shopping. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The room felt cozy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended! 🌟

Love the location just minutes from Nagoya station. A family mart downstairs makes it so convenient. Also near a halal restaurant across the road. Room is very clean but a bit small but perfect for solo traveller.

Nothing to fault with hotel. Only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is due to wait for washing machine. This could be issue with other guests.  We had to send luggage to another city and the staff were extremely helpful with this.

The hotel is close to Nagoya Station, room is small, service is good, breakfast is yummy.

The location was great. There are convenient stores, restaurants right next to the hotel. It just takes around 5 mins to walk from Nagoya Station. My family and I loved the stay so much!

The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and all the facilities were great. I would definitely stay here again.
