Hilton Nagoya Hotel Reviews

After a month and a half, I flew to Nagoya again and chose to stay at the Hilton once more. This time, I got a really good deal on the room, I'm not sure why. Even though it was closer to Christmas and the annual conference season, and the hotel occupancy was much higher than in late October, the price was over 300 RMB cheaper per night compared to my stay then. Overall, there's not much new to say about the hotel; it's not my first review. The room is very spacious, and the location is super convenient for getting around and transportation.

The hotel has facilities like fitness centre and swimming pool which are provided free of charge. The swimming pool is very small which can only accommodate 4 persons if you really want to swim. The bathroom is poorly designed with shower screen which is unable to prevent water splashing after taking the bath. The floor becomes wet and slippery. We bought a new suitcase and sought the hotel's assistance in disposing the old suitcase. The hotel demanded a disposal fee of 5000 yen which was unreasonably high. As we are in a hurry, we have no other alternatives but have to accept it reluctantly. We understand that disposal fee is required for oversized waste in Japan. I have checked from internet that the disposal fee is around 1000 to 3000 yen. Over-charging and poor customer service. Never come back!

Compared to other accommodations in Japan, the rooms at the Hilton are quite spacious. There's ample space to fully open a 28-inch suitcase. The Hilton is easily accessible via the airport bus (Line 6, Fushimi direction), and the Science Museum is also within walking distance.

This prime location offers easy access to the Shinkansen (bullet train), subway, and Meitetsu lines, making it incredibly convenient for exploring shopping areas like Sakae and Osu Kannon, or visiting Nagoya Castle. With convenience stores and drugstores nearby, it's perfect for both business and leisure travelers. True to Japanese hotel standards, the cleanliness is impeccable. Both the guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained, showing no signs of age or wear and tear. Higher floor rooms offer stunning panoramic views of the Nagoya Station area's nightscape. The front desk staff are professional and communicate fluently in English, and room service is prompt and efficient. On a separate note, we encountered a minor issue during our stay. However, two managers were incredibly helpful and quickly resolved the problem to our complete satisfaction. Many thanks to them for their excellent assistance! 🙏

Not the best placed hotel, that said, there are a few eateries and pharmacy within walking distance. Room was clean, crowded lobby

Very old structure. Toilet is old, yellowish plastics , and has some sewerage smell. Won't stay again. Service is so so. Not much affections in the staff expressions.

The hotel's location is a bit off-center, though getting around is still relatively convenient. However, the nearest subway station does not have accessible elevators, so do keep this in mind if you're carrying large or heavy luggage. I was quite satisfied with both the overall atmosphere and the service. A slight improvement in the bathtub's cleanliness would make it even better.

Amazing first class hotel. A little far from the main areas, but definitely worth it. I’ll be staying here again.

The room was very nice and spacious, comfortable to relax in after a long day. The rooms were big enough for our three large luggages with plenty of space left. The staff were hospitable to our stay and accommodating to our departure, making it easy for us to manage

Amazing hotel with great facilities. Room is adequate with a fantastic city view. We stayed for two nights and it was worth it. Check in process was smooth and super easy. I like their personalized complimentary water in a can. Wish they can give more freebies. Haha! Breakfast was amazing! Japan foods is always the best. Arigato🙏

The hotel's location is very close to the train station, and its ambiance is quite unique.

Didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The room was quite basic, very minimal with few amenities. The front desk staff were very friendly and the location was good, just over a kilometer's drive away.
