KOKO HOTEL Nagoya Sakae South（formerly Hotel Wing Select Nagoya Sakae）

The location is good, very close to TV tower and Sakae area and a lot of food choices. However, the service is not up to Japan standard. I was carrying two suitcases and a big bag plus a down jacket when check in and tried to ask one of the staff to help pulling one of the suitcases up to my room but they didn’t offer any help ever it was not the peak hour and there was no customer at the lobby. I was a bit disappointed. For the cleanness, I would say fair as the carpet looks very old and dirty.

The hotel is located in the 榮商圈, close to many delicious food options . However, it is about a 15-minute walk from train stations, which can be quite challenging when carrying luggage. The rooms, like many other Japanese hotels, are relatively small. The breakfast was tasty, offering three choices: Japanese, Chinese, and sandwiches. The last day since I had an early flight, I hoped the hotel could arrange a take-away breakfast, but unfortunately, they couldn't as the restaurant only opens at 7 AM.

My room was 302, but the toilet smelled really bad. Something needs to be done about it.

Breakfast only 3 fix selections & have to inform them the night before to collect the voucher & decide on the option. Amenities can be collected beside the reception before going to the room. About 10 minutes walk to Sakea mrt station. There is airport transfer bus service to and fro near sakae station & bus terminal. There are 7 eleven & family mart nearby & 24 hrs Yilan ramen restaurant right outside the hotel. Some noise pollution cause is near the road & night entertainment place. Overall, the place is nice & cozy.

Comfortable bed & pillow, spacious room in Japan, but unfortunately the staff is not helpful..
