Nest Hotel Naha Kumoji Reviews

The hotel is new and the king room is quite spacious. It's conveniently located, a 5-minute walk to the subway station and a 15-minute walk to Kokusai Dori. This means it's handy for sightseeing but also far enough away from the noisy tourist areas. There are lots of local restaurants and bars nearby, frequented by local office workers. Even though it's only a 15-minute walk from Kokusai Dori, it feels like it's in a completely different neighborhood.

Everything in the room was fine. However, after checking out, I realized I had left something behind in the room. I was absolutely sure it was there, but when I called the hotel twice, they claimed they hadn't found anything. I then requested they ask the cleaning staff, and they told me to call back the next day. When I called back at the time they requested on the following day, the staff didn't speak English! They then asked me to send an email...

It's just a weird stay. Overall good, but the service especially is inconsistent - the younger staff had the worst Gen Z stare I've ever come across (coming from a Gen Z myself), just stared blankly at customers with no greetings, and overall seemed very confused on what they needed to do. I think they needed some training. The older staff on the other hand are quite nice and efficient. Also confused on the amenities provided - stayed for 4 nights; the first 2 nights had no water in room so I just bought from the hotel's own vending machine - but on the 3rd night they started providing bottled water in room. This goes back to the untrained front desk staff - they gave no explanation on what's provided and what's not. This overall limbo and confusion lasts until check out - when I handed the room key back they just stood like O_O. Nothing said - not "ok, check out done" or even "finish". I had to be the one to ask - so is that all? No other charges? Please please train your front desk. (Also didn't manage to take any particular in room photo - nothing too memorable from the stay)

Facilities: So-so. I've stayed at other hotels in Japan that offer more amenities. This one only had towels and a handful of cotton swabs. Some facilities are on a mezzanine level, requiring a bit of a walk. I also have a hunch that the room size I got doesn't match what was advertised (just my guess), it was really tiny, too small to even open my luggage. Cleanliness: Decent. Environment: Excellent location. Service: Very mediocre.

Hotel looks relatively new. Room is slightly bigger than most Japan hotels. Appreciate the free coffee machine provided at certain hours.

The hotel was clean, bright, and hygienic overall. It's also very convenient for getting around; right after leaving the airport, I took the bus and it dropped me off directly across from the hotel. The second picture shows the view from the hotel window. There's a really popular and tasty BBQ restaurant right next to the hotel.

A small but very nice hotel with perfect hygiene and equipment. Great vibe on the top floor with outdoor bathtub. A very nice location with all three big chain convienient stores within 3 minutes walk and just few minutes drive to International Street.

Very good location, friendly staff. Not very private corner rooms. Literally the restaurant in front of you can see everything. Excellent airport and beach bus connections.

The location was good. Walkable to Makishi Public Market, Naminoue Shinto Shrine, Prefectual Office and some other sightseeing places. Very easily find eatery or restaurants around hotel. Next to the hotel is a very nice bbq restaurant Yakiniku King Naha Kumoji.

The hotel's location is super convenient, and they offer free freshly ground coffee and ice, which is a nice touch. Overall, it's a good place and definitely worth booking again! 👌

Stayed there for 3 night and it was very comfortable and convenient (i'm not easy on hotels). Every day had room-cleaning. Size of the room is common for Japan, won't make accent on it. Everything was very smooth and calm, lovely fresh atmosphere. Space and hotel itself is not very big but very presentable and pleasant. - minus for the breakfast. For me personally, couldn't choose much to eat there — used 7/11 in 5min of walk. Stayed satisfied, and would recommend. Breakfast time was from 7:0
