Hotel Aqua Citta Naha

On the evening of August 7th, during the typhoon, the hotel was excellent and even offered free limited-edition curry rice.

The hygiene was good, though the facilities were a bit old. The waffle-knit pajamas were a nice touch. The location is very convenient, just a two or three-minute walk to the ferry terminal for easy access to Tokashiki Island. There are also entertainment options and restaurants nearby, and Kokusai Street is a 15-minute walk. The room was quite small; if you open a large suitcase, there's no room to walk. There's a washer/dryer on the first floor, but there's often a long wait. Overall, the hotel exterior is impressive, but the interior feels more like a budget hotel.

About a 10-minute walk from Miebashi Station. The elevator was really slow and the soundproofing wasn't great. However, it was decent for three people to sleep, though one had an extra bed. Kokusai Street is also a 13-15 minute walk away, and there are restaurants nearby, so it's good for walking around.

Booked this hotel mainly for the 'influencer-famous' rooftop pool. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. It's more of a plunge pool than an actual swimming pool. Service within the hotel is pretty much non-existent. Stayed for three days and they didn't proactively change the bedding. Maybe that's their standard service. Breakfast, however, had a good variety, with both Western and Japanese options available.

It's easy to get to from the airport by bus, there's a convenience store right across the street, and you can walk to the city beach and Kokusai Street. The hotel also has a pool, the interior is clean, and room cleaning is done well every day. The large bed is a plus. Oh, it's really good!

The hotel has a small swimming pool upstairs with purple-red neon lights at night. It seems to host mostly European and American guests. Overall, it's nothing spectacular. I booked it last minute because I had to stay an extra night due to a typhoon. The room is a bit small but acceptable, just a little dated. The air conditioning vent had some dust. Checked in on a typhoon day, the streets were completely deserted 🌪️, and all the restaurants were closed. But the hotel became our strongest support! I was worried we'd be stuck eating instant noodles in the storm, but the hotel really went into 'fan-favorite mode' 💗: ✅ Heartwarming rescue 🆘: They gave out free, steaming hot curry rice 🍛 in the lobby. For stranded travelers, that warm meal was a lifesaver! ✅ Unlimited refills: The Club Lounge was incredibly well-stocked! Not only did they have various juices 🧃 and alcoholic beverages 🍾, but also Okinawan must-tries like peanut tofu (Jiimami Tofu) and Blue Seal ice cream 🍦. I really want to emphasize: the desserts and hot food here truly comforted me ❤️

The service wasn't great. I thought the rooftop pool was free, but it actually costs money. The staff's attitude was so-so. You have to self-check-in, which can be a bit tricky if you don't understand English well.
