Worst hotel. My child went with school trip.. AC was not working. Coacroach in salad and flies everywhere in cafeteria... Pathetic service. Service was delayed. Whenever my child asked for water bottle. They got bottles after 1hr and that too were open bottles ..

Property is not at all guest friendly. The staff runs their own agenda and is not at all happy & sensitive to serve customers. Being a diabetic , I was denied breakfast for being 10 minutes late while the spread was still on the table. I was even denied Ala Carte breakfast on payment. Had to go out to have my breakfast. Avoid and if not then follow what the staff demands and desire.

Best place for Destination wedding. Property is upto the mark. All services and arrangements were done timely by hotel. Although house keeping was not upto the mark. Reception desk ok. Room cleaning perfect. Check-in and check out was properly done. My best wishes for entire team

Banyan Retreat is tucked approximately 4 hours away from Noida near the jungles of Jim Corbett park. An unassuming cozy retreat with 90 odd mix of cottages rooms and villas. A cozy place for small events and weddings but the property is screaming for an upgrade. The two parks facing cottages and rooms get decked up beautifully for functions and the event team is fairly active. The furniture used - sofa chairs etc - however is badly maintained and has started to give way and breaking from sides. Food is decent, but may be spicy for my foreigner colleagues and ones from south of India, and presentation is also just above average. Cutlery also needs a revisit. The rooms especially need a re look as some, despite being new, stink of dead rats from badly designed septic tanks. The new block has seepage issues which makes it worse. The staff is old and hired on demand as they have little understanding of hospitality. Room cleaning is “on demand” only and the housecleaning guys seem to be learning on the job. A great venue for coziness and economy for a well knit function that can be better with some upgrade and investments.

Dear Banyan Retreat team, We recently stayed at your resort for my Son Karan's wedding. I want to appreciate the entire team for making our function memorable and a smooth show. Appreciate the efforts of the event team, they delivered everything in time and gave us the best of the best F&B team of the resort also gave there best efforts. From welcome to food to service, the hospitality was A-one. Punjabi dhol was the best and the band was amazing as well. Special Mention - 1. Mr. Sumit - who handled everything very well. 2. Ms. Monika - she is a one *** army. She was on her toes throughout. Once again thank you for hosting us. Regards, Deepak Tuteja
Response from Property: Dear valued guest, Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that we could contribute to making Karan's wedding a memorable and smooth event. We appreciate your acknowledgment of our event and F&B teams, and we're delighted you enjoyed the hospitality, Punjabi dhol, and the fantastic performance by the band. I stayed for 3 Nights in Philkan Suites in Jan 2024 ***** with my family. The suite was spacious and had a Sofa Cum Bed ***** with a Double Bed in master bedroom. The service in room is quick and rooms are hygienic. The outdoor area is well maintained and there is a lot of greenery all around. What I didnt liked about the property is as follows: 1. The food served in restaurant lacked taste and at times it appeared stale. The quality and variety of food were both compromised. The Buffet didn't looked like a buffet. Non-Veg variety was just one i.e. Chicken Curry. Sweet dish were hardly 2.. moong dal halwa or Ice cream combination most of the times. I was made to eat a fixed menu for dinner, breakfast and lunch for first day as there was hardly any guests in the resort. 2. The windows in room are not sound proof. Noise from outside specially when people used to stroll outside of room was very irritating. 3. The Indoor and outdoor activities are very costly. E.g. For Cycle rent was 300 plus for 30 mins. PS 5 costed 300 plus for 30 mins and so on. 4. The bathroom's surface in our room was not evenly. The water used to be all over the place if we used to take bath and/ or use closet. 5. The family crowd was less. Look like the venue is mostly used for organizing marriages and/ or some events. 6. There is not much entertainment activities except for a live singing. 7. The resort is 20-25 min drive from Bijrani Gate for Safari. In winter, it is a horrible drive to gate if you are travelling in an open Jeep. All in all a disappointing stay. I would not like to visit this resort again in future. I would recommend staying in Golden Tusk in Dhela which had given me a great satisfaction everytime I stayed with them. Harish

The worst experience I have ever had in any resort. The staff is rude . They are insensitive. All the bell boys looked like they have been appointed just the same day. Pathetic food. The kitchen doesn't make any food for the baby on demand.they simply deny . Would never visit even if they give me free stays free food free travel...

It was 3 days gala wedding ceremony in a close relation at the property & I went with my family to attend the same. The property is nestled in beautiful lush green village. One can feel the pure O2 in his lungs at the place. The property has 90 rooms of different categories which are spread across the area, two big lawns, a swimming pool to relax, kids play area etc. What I liked the most is standing tall “ Banyan tree” which is probably hundred year old( the property is named on the same ). The reception is impressively decorated with courteous hotel staff. The property is in close proximity with the famous Hanuman Dham temple.

Though the resort is located far away from town, in a remote village, it is a very desirable place to stay with family while touring Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand. It is a luxurious resort, spread amongst beautiful lawns and gardens. Rooms and bath room are large and spacious. Though property is old, it is very well maintained. Rooms have plenty of storage space. Bed linens and bath room towels are clean and look fresh. All necessary toiletries, tea kettle are provided. Restaurant has plenty of dining space. Buffett lunch and dinner are lavish. Service is good. Prompt response to all requests. Swimming pool is well maintained. Often parties are conducted at the pool. Sufficient parking space is available. Reception lobby is large and well decorated. Overall, there is an aura of high luxury all around. Definitely a good choice to stay with family while in Jim Corbett.

Banyan Retreat is in Raamnagar 24Km away from actual Corbett area, situated in the middle of farm lands. Resort is wide spread, hygiene and picturesque. Food is equally good. Best remark for the well trained hospitable staff, special mention to Manager Nirmal Pant who ensure hassle free check in and checkout and made every way comfortable. Only suggestion to the Banyan retreat is to provide dormitory accommodation to the drivers. Otherwise all good.

The experience was almost similar to what I had in pre-COVID days except that I found the service efficiency to have gone down by a few notches. To me the rooms could have been much cleaner, I stayed for 3 days and felt that the room could have been cleaner. Enjoyed a comfortable stay and satisfying sleep with no disturbance. The food that was laid out in buffet style had good varieties but keeping in mind the package costs the offer can improve in terms of variety. The first meal I/we had some issues and after discussion with the chef the food preparation was much as per the request. Appreciate the efforts to meet our food taste requirement.
