I came on a solo trip to Nainital and heading back with so ***y lovely memories of my stay here which far exceeded my expectations. Blue Book at Gethia is not your typical resort but a natural paradise with a lot to offer for the nature lover and a luxury traveller alike who loves all modern comforts . Peaceful surroundings, spectacular views, old world charm and luxury in each of the 12 rooms or chapters as they are called and curated experiences in a variety of settings. Freshly cooked yummy food, nature walks, cozy nights in front of the old fireplace, just to name a few. Special shout out to the staff here, ***soor politely took care of my every need, Hi***shu’s knowledge about the local area is par excellence and I was lucky to have him accompany me on nature treks, Shrey Gupta, the owner of this place is passionate about hospitality and gives more than 100%, was great to chat with him and hear a bit more about the history of this place which was originally built in the British times and has been lovingly restored. Nanintal is only about 40 minutes away which is a nice hill station but I travelled to Pangoot which is another 2 hours away, way up the mountain where you get spectacular views of the Himalayan range and the most amazing sunset views. We even saw a huge Sambar deer on the way back to the resort! The day trip to Pangoot was arranged by Ricky from Ricky Travels! Thank you! Sukeerti from Soulful Safaris arranged my whole trip! She’s a delight to work with who paid attention to all the details that would make the trip special for me! I will definitely come back to enjoy the serene beauty here, would highly recommend Blue Book for your next stay in this beautiful part of India.
