They made it really easy for us to transfer our luggage from one hotel to another. They even have an onsen, which we weren't expecting from the description. Very friendly staff.

Awesome stay, short walk to Nakatsugawa Station. Staff was extremely polite and friendly. Would definitely stay here again next time. Arigato Odaya Onn Nakatsugawa!!

Very very welcoming place. Onsen is very good and clean. Staff gentle. A lot of parking around, a perfect position to enjoy dinner. The room was perfectly clean and breakfast sooo good.

The hotel room is spacious, cleanliness is good. Though the staff are young, they are very cheerful and helpful. First time experience to leave the shoes in the lobby locker, quite happy that the whole area is free from dust as no one can wear shoes inside. There has 3 free car parks around the hotel area for you to choose. Good location for visiting Magome-juku. Has a bundle of restaurants nearby with a nice cafe eating traditional toast. All toiletries are available at the lobby area. Worth to stay again.

Really liked the hotel itself but the breakfast food tasted awful.. all dishes even the scrambled egg had a sharp bitter aftertaste

It’s not the first time I booked this hotel and it’s still great. Each time I head to Nakatsugawa, this is my favorite hotel. The best price for the quality provided.

I really appreciated the no-shoes policy: it gives the hotel a calm, clean atmosphere. However, the comfort room was disappointingly small and felt quite cramped, which detracts from the comfort. Also, while many parts of the hotel are clean and well-maintained, towels could be better (softer / more plush). Overall though, good stay, especially for the location which is perfect to hike the Nakasendo.

The room was a little small, but it was a very comfortable stay overall. Free parking was provided just a short walk from the property, which was convenient. A simple self-service ochazuke was available for all guests, which was a warm and thoughtful touch. Shoes are not allowed inside the hotel, so everyone walks around barefoot or in socks. It felt a bit unusual at first, especially while waiting for the lift, but it also meant that no outside shoes were brought into the rooms, helping to keep the space clean and cosy.

Hotel was clean and very accessible from the train station. Do note you have to keep your shoes in lockers at the entrance so you’ll need socks or room slippers when walking within the hotel. Onsen was nice! It might have been a bonus if the front desk were more fluent in English.

The hotel is absolutely lovely! The location is very close to Station, so many cool places nearby. Cultural center is 2 min away. Our room was the best of all our trip to Japan - with terrace and such soft beds! Terrace was very cute, costs every yen:) very spacious and stylish room. Thank you!

Lovely stay at this hotel. The onsen was so nice to soak in at the end of a long day of hiking. The breakfast spread was delicious with a large Japanese spread and a small western spread. I really enjoy the local food specialities that they had available for breakfast like soba with grated mountain yam, peanut miso grilled on a leaf, rice Dango with a peanut sauce, and warabi mochi.

Excellent service, clean rooms, and very close to the station – highly recommended!

This might be the best hotel in Nakatsugawa. It's elegant, very clean, and has its own hot spring.
