HanTing Hotel (Nanchang Qifeng Road Subway Station)

The hotel is located in a good area. It's within a good walking distance to the live house. There are a lot of shops and restaurants that can be found in the area. The staff of the hotel were average, they just did their jobs nothing more and nothing less, not even a smile or nice greeting. They seem to not care. The amenities at the hotel are very basic. They provide some toiletries, a kettle with cups, a tv and towels. They fail to provide slippers for the shower or a non slip mat for the shower. Also, I booked a room for two people and they only provided one tea bag and one coffee bag, we both drink coffee 😑. The coffee that can be bought at the lobby is overpriced and you rather go to Starbucks for better fresh coffee at that price. Our biggest problem is that the room and hotel should be non smoking, but when we got into the room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the floor was dirty with cigarette ash. We had to call the cleaner to come and clean the room properly. When we got into the elevator there was a man smoking inside, he even walked past the hotel staff in the lobby and they said nothing. How can this be labeled as a non smoking hotel? It's really disgusting and I got sick because of this, I booked this hotel to avoid people smoking indoors. Trip.com needs to correct the labels on this hotel because they clearly allow smoking. Overall, this hotel is entirely overpriced considering the very below average facilities, hygiene and staff service.
