I really love Nanchang's food, and this is my second time visiting. I saw this hotel just opened, so I booked it. It's very close to the subway, right at Exit 1, but unfortunately, Exit 1 of Honggu Middle Avenue doesn't have an escalator, which was a bit inconvenient with my luggage. Usually, when I travel, if I'm staying in the hotel for a long time, I'll book places like Hilton or InterContinental. If I'm out and about more for food and entertainment, I'll choose something like Hanting or Orange Hotel, so I've generally been quite satisfied with Hanting. However, this time the front desk staff seemed a bit cold, which I wasn't used to. In terms of staff attitude, I found the cleaning auntie to be very enthusiastic. But what I don't understand is, I hung the 'please clean' sign when I left, and housekeeping did come in to clean and empty the trash, so why was this one piece of trash left behind? Also, the soundproofing is poor; I could hear the toilet flushing next door, which is a bit ridiculous. As for facilities, there's only a trash can in the bathroom and none in the room, which is also a bit inconvenient. Overall, the hotel is new and the location is convenient, but the cleanliness and service attitude need improvement.

Pros: Recently renovated and very clean, though I did find a hair on the headboard. When I reported it, nothing was done. The room type we booked was a 'three-choice' option, and they assigned us a standard room that comfortably fit three people, which was great. Cons: 1. The smell of new renovation was still very strong, definitely a 'flip property.' 2. Breakfast was incredibly unappetizing. The plain congee was greyish and had a sour smell. 3. They advertised a parking lot, but it only fits about ten cars, has no boom gate, can't be reserved, and isn't exclusively for the hotel. It just happens to be next to the hotel. I specifically booked this hotel because it had parking, but when we arrived, there was no space. I called beforehand to ask if reservations were needed and was told no. When we couldn't park, they just told us to figure it out ourselves. When I complained to the front desk about the strong renovation smell and asked if we could switch rooms, they offered a refund instead. It was Chinese New Year, we arrived at 7 PM, and they expected us to find another place to stay after checking out and getting a refund? Overall, Nanchang's urban tourism planning seems chaotic, with haphazard parking allowed on roadsides. All in all, there were just too many people during Chinese New Year.
