Jumeirah Nanjing

We booked a family room, but when we first entered, there was a strong smell of smoke, so we had to change rooms. The fruit they delivered was rotten when I bit into it, and there was no apology. Overall, the service was mediocre, but the environment was nice.

This luxury hotel in Hexi is a landmark, and its architectural design is really impressive. The staff, Ibuki and Gloria, were polite and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the night view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was absolutely stunning. Both the service and facilities were top-notch. It's a great choice for accommodation when visiting Nanjing.

The location is perfect for families, making sightseeing a breeze. The hotel is right next to the Youth Olympic Forest Park and the Nanjing Eye Pedestrian Bridge. It's just a few minutes' walk to the riverside promenade, where you can take your elders and kids for a stroll in the evening, enjoy the breeze, and unwind from the day's travel. The scenery is also fantastic for photos. Downstairs, there's a large commercial complex with dining, supermarkets, and a playground – everything you need in one spot. You don't have to go far to buy snacks, kids' toys, or try different restaurants. Duty manager Charles was very attentive and provided excellent service. Getting to major attractions by taxi is also very convenient. It's close to the Olympic Sports Center and the Jiangsu Grand Theatre, making it ideal if you're bringing children to see a show or visit an exhibition. You won't have to rush around, making family trips easy and hassle-free.

My stay at Jumeirah this time was incredibly surprising and memorable. Even before I arrived, the hotel's service had already left a great first impression. The staff member who answered my call in the morning was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. They helped me resolve two practical issues regarding check-in and luggage arrangements, explaining everything clearly and efficiently, which made my subsequent arrival at the hotel much smoother. Later, during check-in, the front desk staff member who assisted me was also very enthusiastic, meticulous, and thoughtful. The entire check-in process was seamless and pleasant; they also went above and beyond to help me with room arrangements, and the final stay experience far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is also outstanding. The overall environment is beautiful and very well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegant, quiet, and comfortable, with great views and a very relaxing ambiance. The bathroom and amenities were particularly impressive; many small details showed the hotel's attentiveness. What impressed me most this time wasn't just the hotel's facilities, but the genuine service provided by the staff. From the phone communication in the morning to the front desk reception upon arrival, I felt incredibly welcome and well taken care of. Overall, this was a very pleasant and delightful stay, and one of the most impressive hotels I've stayed at recently. If I return to this city in the future, I would be very willing to choose this place again, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel was clean and quiet, which made for a great night's sleep. We woke up late the next day, and the hotel was very accommodating in helping us with a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The duty manager was quick to respond to messages, and our requests were handled immediately. Thumbs up, highly recommended! [Strong][Strong] The overall service was very attentive.

I came to Nanjing specifically for this hotel, as it's part of the Jumeirah group, like the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. Although they offered a complimentary breakfast for my child, I still want to give an honest review. The front desk service was very good, and the room was quite spacious with a beautiful view outside the window. However, the hotel's overall attention to detail was less satisfactory compared to other five-star hotels I've stayed in. The shower drain was very slow, almost overflowing, and the soundproofing was also quite poor. On the positive side, breakfast was plentiful, and both the environment and service there were excellent. I hope the hotel can focus more on the guest experience and improve its attention to detail.

The hotel has a great design and offers expansive views. However, the front desk service was mediocre; they weren't very enthusiastic and didn't seem to care much about guest requests. There was only one concierge staff member. The walk from the front desk to the room was quite long. There's no robot delivery for room service, which makes food delivery to different floors very challenging for staff. It took about an hour for my takeaway to get from the concierge to my room, and by then, it was completely cold.

The hotel's location is excellent, being close to the Olympic Sports Center, which was convenient for attending a concert. It was quiet at night, ensuring a good sleep. I chose a river view room, and the unobstructed river view was absolutely stunning. The front desk service and room cleanliness were also very good. However, there were a few downsides: 1. The underground parking lot is quite small and challenging to navigate, like a 'driving test Level 3'. When I asked about charging stations, they said there were some underground, but I couldn't find any. 2. The bathroom lighting in the room was relatively dim, with insufficient light sources, which made it difficult for makeup. 3. Breakfast was a bit unpleasant because I had to wait. Several waves of guests who were getting refills were ahead of me at the counter, disrupting my normal meal! It was the first time I've ever had to stand around while trying to eat breakfast. I suggest they have two service staff members to handle different tasks.

Huge thanks to the Jumeirah front desk (I didn't catch their name!). I'd only stayed here once before with my best friend, and they still remembered me and upgraded my room that time. This visit, the room types were very limited, and the one I got didn't have a full-length mirror 😕 – a bit disappointing, especially since my friend was visiting me in Nanjing and staying here too. However, I was the fastest to check-in; many others were waiting at the front desk, which I totally understood. The room itself was still great, and the service was exceptional! Not just the front desk, but the housekeeping staff were fantastic too. I received a lovely little gift upon check-out today, which was such a thoughtful touch! 😘
