Nanjing Jinling Hotel

I stayed in the old building, and honestly, the room was really cozy. It's an older building, so the room wasn't large, but it was small and comfortable. The bathroom has been renovated; there's no longer a bathtub, it's been replaced with a shower. The toiletries smell great. The room service particularly stands out; the staff were attentive, polite, and made me feel very comfortable. Also, the front desk gentleman was very polite and provided thoughtful service. This old-school five-star hotel is still excellent 👍. And the breakfast was good too; the 56th-floor Asia Pacific building was quiet and not crowded, with a truly amazing view. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit. The Jinling steamed buns were delicious.

This hotel is really great! I saw the high ratings online and decided to check it out, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The room attendant, ZHANG HONG, was very enthusiastic and helpful. The buffet dinner at Jinhaiwan was incredibly rich and delicious, and the service there was excellent too. We booked a room with a bathtub, and since we're seniors, Yashi (the hotel staff) kindly helped us move to a newer floor. The shower room was newly renovated and very clean, and the room overall was spotless. We were extremely satisfied with everything.

A big part of my enjoyment during this Nanjing trip was choosing to stay at Jinling Hotel. The front desk staff, upon hearing I was pregnant, specially arranged a room for me with convenient bathing facilities and more space, which made my stay incredibly comfortable. The hotel service also gets full marks; the butler promptly answered all my questions on WeChat. The environment is also perfect—clean and beautiful. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, featuring unique Nanjing specialties like old duck vermicelli soup and salted duck. Lastly, I have to mention how convenient the hotel's location is. All kinds of food deliveries arrived super fast, and the robot delivered items to my room very promptly. It's only a 5-minute walk to the subway station. If I have the chance to visit Nanjing again, Jinling Hotel will definitely be my first choice!

I'd heard so much about Jinling Hotel, and I was lucky enough to finally stay there. I even tried their Jinling salted duck at the Plum Garden restaurant, and it was delicious! The service and cleanliness were top-notch, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel's location is super convenient, really close to all the main attractions, and public transport is easily accessible. Next time I'm in Nanjing, I'll definitely choose Jinling Hotel again!

Facilities: A bit dated. As an established five-star hotel, there's room for improvement, especially in adapting to current trends. Adding shower stalls is a must; having only a bathtub is quite inconvenient. Cleanliness: Generally satisfactory, but there's room for improvement in the details. The water stains on the nightstand, for instance, might be tough to clean due to age, but they still look unappealing. Environment: The environment is quite good. It's in a city center location with convenient transportation. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the overall feel is very comfortable. The dining options are comprehensive and varied – the food was good. However, it would be better if guests were informed about their room's location upon check-in. Some rooms face away from the street, offering no city view, which can negatively impact the guest experience. Service: It meets five-star hotel standards. There are greeters and bellhops at the entrance/exit, and the front desk service is warm and attentive. They helped with luggage, and there were even welcome gifts, showing a thoughtful touch. I'd definitely stay here again to experience the environment and service of the new building.

The location is fantastic, right outside the subway station with many shopping areas nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. However, the room facilities are quite old, and the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower, so you have to shower in the bathtub. The soundproofing is very poor; I could hear phone calls in the middle of the night and people walking and talking outside my door.
