This stay at Sofitel Galaxy truly exceeded our expectations, and I have to give a perfect score to Jessica! Her service was attentive and thoughtful throughout: she not only upgraded our room for free but also proactively reminded us to book our exclusive late-night supper. Finally, she helped us secure a late check-out. Every little detail made us feel incredibly warm and cared for. Although the hotel has been open for some time, the quality of service hasn't diminished at all; instead, it showcases the reliability and dependability of a well-established five-star hotel. The location is another huge plus: the subway station is right outside the hotel, offering direct access to all popular attractions. If you're driving, you can park directly on levels B2/B3. Either way, getting around is super convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Nanjing!

It's an older hotel, and its age is its main drawback, but it's still quite good. The breakfast was excellent. What really surprised me was how incredibly spacious the room was – it felt like two standard rooms combined, large enough to fit four beds. While it was huge, I only had one office chair to use, which I had to move around to eat takeout. There were no other chairs available, and the sofa was too low for children. The view was nice though, facing the Nanjing TV Tower, and the sunset was lovely.

Sofitel Nanjing Galaxy is a 5-star Accor hotel located in a prime spot. The lobby is luxurious and grand, and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. It's perfect for exploring the northern part of the city, Yihe Road, and Xuanwu Lake. It's only about 100 meters (a 5-minute walk) from Exit 4 of Qingchun Square Station on Line 5, and also a 5-minute walk to Lion Bridge Food Street and Hunan Road. The hotel offers stunning panoramic views, especially of the Yihe Road Republican Era district. On the 9th floor, there's a domed, temperature-controlled indoor pool and a fitness center, making it a great hotel for sightseeing in Nanjing.

Great value for money! I stayed in a suite for less than 600 a night, and it included breakfast for two adults and two children. However, I do have a few suggestions: Why does a five-star hotel have no fragrance? From the moment I entered the lobby to my room, there was no scent at all, and it actually smelled quite bad. As an older five-star hotel, the facilities are generally complete, but the main issue is that everything is old, very old. It doesn't seem to be particularly well-maintained. The staff's quality was also quite average; I rarely saw any smiling faces. The best service I received was from the staff member who called me to ask for my review and feedback.

Traveling to Nanjing with my family, I chose this hotel on Shanxi Road. The staff were incredibly professional and enthusiastic, helping us arrange everything perfectly. Arriving in Nanjing on a rainy day, this hotel on Shanxi Road was a pleasant experience. It's conveniently located right next to a subway station, making transportation very easy. Excellent! The lady at the front desk was so enthusiastic. Seeing that we had a child, she upgraded us to a family room. It was spacious and beautiful, and the little one absolutely loved it. The hotel's service is truly outstanding; they even kindly extended our check-out time. A great experience, we'll definitely choose this place again next time.
