Grand Metropark Nanjing

This hotel was a fantastic choice for our family trip to Nanjing! The location is superb – Ming Palace and the Nanjing Museum are just around the corner, saving us the hassle of constantly transferring. My kids happily walked there every day. Ms. Wang at the front desk was so enthusiastic and patient. She helped us confirm the opening hours of nearby attractions and even advised us on convenient parking spots, which was incredibly helpful. Our booking included a buffet breakfast, with a good variety of mains and sides. My child filled up their plate and absolutely loved it. The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding was fresh and odor-free. Our family slept soundly for several nights, making for a wonderful experience.

Our whole family came to Nanjing for a trip, and we were very satisfied with this hotel! The location is super convenient, with Ming Palace and the Nanjing Museum right next door, so we could visit them anytime. Getting to Jiming Temple and Xuanwu Lake by taxi was also very quick, making our travel very efficient. Ms. Wang at the front desk was very down-to-earth and, seeing we had a child, proactively recommended several kid-friendly restaurants, which turned out to be excellent choices. The included breakfast buffet had a good variety, with the mini wontons and steamed dumplings being the most popular; every day, the whole family ate a full meal before heading out. The room was bright and airy, and the bedding was clean and comfortable – perfect for a family of three. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we come back to Nanjing.

This hotel, seemingly under the CTS Group, has a long history. Its location is absolutely superb, right next to the Nanjing Museum and within easy reach of Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum and the Presidential Palace. However, this also means it attracts a huge number of tourists, making it a bit overwhelmingly crowded. That certainly left an impression on the stay experience. The room size was quite generous, though the facilities were a little dated. Still, overall it was pretty good, and the service was okay. Staying on the 30th floor provided some excellent views too.

We were on our way to check into another hotel in Nanjing with our child when we passed the Grand Metropark Hotel. My child was too tired to go on, so we canceled our original booking and decided to check into the Grand Metropark on the spot. This turned out to be the best decision of our Nanjing trip! The front desk staff were incredibly kind and enthusiastic. They gave us complimentary breakfast, and the room they arranged for us was perfect – clean and quiet. Anything we needed was just a phone call away and delivered within 10 minutes. It's a shame we were too exhausted from sightseeing to take more photos of the hotel (I only have one of the view from our room). All in all, this spontaneous hotel change made our Nanjing trip so much more comfortable and enjoyable. I have to give the Grand Metropark a 5-star rating! I hope the Grand Metropark continues to maintain this high quality of service. See you next time!

My child, being a bit mischievous, bumped their forehead at the hotel and cut it. The lobby manager on duty that night immediately arranged for a concierge, Sun Wei, to take us to the hospital. We then had to be transferred to another hospital, and Sun Wei queued for us, found doctors, and coordinated the emergency situation. We were incredibly touched by his help, being away from home. Over the next few days, we received daily calls and visits from various hotel departments – the lobby, dining area, and housekeeping – all expressing their concern. Every single staff member was so genuine and warm-hearted. Housekeeping staff member Tu Chuanju even thoughtfully prepared a child-sized toilet, a stool, and some small gifts for us. As an established five-star hotel, it's clear why Grand Metropark has always been highly praised; every employee here deserves commendation. Thank you all so much; next time I'm in Nanjing, I will definitely choose Grand Metropark again!

Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good Service: Good Everything was great. Parking was free for several days, the bedding was very new, and the service was excellent. Parking was convenient, the views were nice, and the large windows offered a wide, open view.

Fantastic location, right next to the Nanjing Museum, with rooms offering views of Nanjing city and the museum. It was incredibly comfortable to be able to step into the museum without the air conditioning chill leaving my body on hot summer days. Getting to attractions like the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum was also very convenient. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were wonderful, always proactively helping with luggage.

Excellent location, just a 5-minute walk to the Nanjing Museum. The breakfast was plentiful, and the dinner buffet was great value for money, with unlimited crayfish in various flavors. Xiao Cang from the restaurant provided warm and thoughtful service. We received a free room upgrade to a family twin room, which was incredibly fun and kid-friendly – we loved it!

Came to Nanjing with a friend and we were really happy with this hotel! The location is super convenient, close to Ming Palace and Nanjing Museum, and it's a quick taxi ride to Fuzi Temple and Xinjiekou, which saved us a lot of travel time and made exploring so much easier. The front desk staff, particularly Ms. Wang, was warm and attentive. She processed our check-in efficiently and even proactively offered recommendations for local attractions, which was incredibly helpful. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a great variety and tasted good, ensuring we started each day well-fed. The room itself was clean and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. We'll definitely choose this place again when we're back in Nanjing!
