Nanjing N&S MEN DONG Hotel (Near Confucius Temple)

Elegant surroundings with lush greenery! A peaceful oasis in the bustling city. This is my fourth time staying here, five-star recommendation! 👍 Superb stay, spacious room with complete facilities!

My stay at the Yinnan Mendong Hotel during my trip to Nanjing truly exceeded my expectations. Nestled deep within the Laomendong scenic area, the hotel perfectly blends the charm of old architecture with modern design, boasting a traditional Jiangnan-style courtyard with white walls and dark tiles. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. In just a few minutes' walk, you can reach various snack shops and creative boutiques, and it’s incredibly convenient to get to Fuzimiao Temple and Qinhuai River, making sightseeing a breeze. The room itself was spacious, and the high ceilings of the old building prevented any feeling of being confined. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and the toiletries were pleasant to use. The mini-bar, stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks, showcased their thoughtful attention to detail. The staff provided excellent, discreet service – not overly enthusiastic to the point of being intrusive, but always responsive to any requests and even offering helpful sightseeing tips. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it featured authentic Nanjing flavors, with local specialties like duck blood vermicelli soup and small wontons, all tasting incredibly genuine. The courtyard, with its lush greenery and water features, offered a wonderful atmosphere for a relaxing stroll or a quiet sit-down. Whether for a leisurely vacation or a short getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nanjing.

The old buildings within the scenic area are charming and traditional, and there's a swimming pool. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and helpful. It's also very convenient to explore the area on foot.

The environment is good, the location is great, and it's convenient for getting around.

Facilities: Very unique. Hygiene: Very clean and tidy. Environment: Excellent. Service: The auntie at the service desk was very attentive and ensured all my needs were met. She even brought me a sewing kit and offered helpful suggestions, which made me feel very cared for and touched by her thoughtfulness.

The location is fantastic! Laomendong is amazing to explore, and the art museum across the street is beautiful. The room was quite spacious, and we even got an upgrade. Overall, the facilities are great, and breakfast was delicious. Definitely worth staying here!
