Choosing the right hotel is an integral part of any trip. Nanjing Central Hotel isn't just a hotel; it's a 'historical museum' that has witnessed nearly a century of momentous events. Established in 1927 and officially opened in 1930, it was one of the most prestigious social and accommodation venues in Nanjing during the Republic of China era. Chiang Kai-shek, Soong Mei-ling, Zhang Xueliang, Zhou Enlai, and many other historical figures have all stayed or held activities here. The architecture of the Central Hotel itself is a work of art, blending Chinese and Western elements, making it an outstanding example of Republican-era design. The only downside is the terrible soundproofing! Being woken up in the middle of the night by noise was really frustrating!

The room was spacious, with both beds being 1.5 meters wide, which is quite rare and suitable for families with children. It's very convenient to stay here when visiting Nanjing for autumn scenery, as it's not far from the city wall and Jiming Temple. The hotel facilities aren't new, but they are clean and hygienic, and the service is good. The surface parking lot is large, making it a good choice for family trips by car.

事情是這樣的，是在南京玩的最後一天，兩點半才回酒店退房急急忙忙地收拾行李，結果在去車站的地鐵上接到酒店電話📞“您好華東飯店，您的後陡門T恤落在房間裏了，我加您微信，您發我一下地址給您郵寄過去吧…”掛掉電話我這個超絕鈍感力，還在那自己合計，“哎她剛才説後陡門T恤 難道還看了logo 哦 後面有holdoumen，難道打電話之前還查了一下……”然後就跟我朋友説還笑話她落了毛巾 結果自己也落了（還是很重要的衣服）然後加了微信我發了地址，我就好奇怎麼特意檢查了一遍還能落呢，還掀開被子看了呢，就問了一下她並表達感謝（這時候都沒多合計），然後一句“不客氣 看到禾也很激動”我在地鐵上老激動了，感覺好有親切感 真的不可思議hhhh……最後推薦大家去南京玩的時候住華東飯店哦，服務好👍離小童citywalk的地方很近（我真的要強烈推薦小童走的這幾條路騎着單車非常舒適，而且非常出片非常美，是這趟體驗感，最好的地方）近地鐵口，有接駁車，性價比高，大門口有武警和特警站崗，對面就是省政府和政協，特別安全！離雞鳴寺玄武湖先鋒書店，這些景點都比較近。記着一定要穿#holdoumen 去前台辦理入住哦，社恐小姐姐下次一定會對暗號

The location is great, close to the subway, and convenient to major attractions and schools. While the facilities aren't new, they're clean and the staff are friendly. It was a great experience and I hope to return to Nanjing in the future. I love this city and look forward to staying here again.
