Nanning Marriott Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a shopping mall with a direct access door from the hotel. The breakfast is also good, with a decent variety of choices, both Chinese and Western. What's also worth mentioning is the hotel's service, which is outstanding, especially Moon, Freya, Joyce, and Pink from the service center. They respond promptly to any needs. This time, they even helped me with a late check-out. All in all, I've stayed here a few times, and it's always been great.

The hotel upgraded our room. It's in a prime location with convenient transportation. The doorman proactively helped with our luggage, and the service was excellent.

Conveniently located right next to the subway, making it quick to get around. The hotel service was thoughtful, and the pool and gym were open until 10:30 PM. A special thanks to Arthur May and Yuki for their excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

After much deliberation, I chose this hotel in Nanning, and after reading many reviews, I felt it was a good choice once I checked in. The front desk staff had a great attitude; Rita, in particular, spoke softly and politely ☺️☺️ and helped me upgrade to a room with a fantastic view. The only downside was that the soundproofing of the glass at night wasn't ideal. The room itself was standard, very clean, and tidy. I initially considered booking breakfast but decided to try some local Nanning specialties instead. The hotel's location was very convenient for evening strolls, being connected to Hangyang Mall, which was incredibly helpful. I visited Qingxiu Mountain in Nanning, and while it was really hot at that time, it was definitely worth going to experience nature. The hotel's facilities were quite comprehensive, and the staff on the floors were also very polite. Opting for a branded hotel really does make for a more comfortable and reassuring stay. I would still highly recommend it. One suggestion: the air conditioning unit needs to be checked for noise. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the museum and Fantawild. The hotel service is also superb; Arthur, Yuki, and May are very enthusiastic and genuinely care about their guests. The hotel's executive lounge is particularly outstanding.

Honestly, my stay at the Marriott this time was far below expectations. It really didn't feel like a five-star hotel should, more like a three-star. Let's start with the pros: The hotel's location is indeed excellent, with convenient transportation, which was my main reason for choosing it. However, the cons are very prominent: 1. **Severely Outdated Facilities**: The air conditioning in the room was incredibly noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night. The AC control panel screen was broken, completely unreadable, so adjusting it was pure guesswork. Many facilities in the room clearly need renovation and repair; the overall feeling was very old and dated. 2. **Frustrating Delivery Service**: I stayed for 4 days and ordered takeout every day. The hotel never proactively brought it up to my room, always leaving it at the front desk. Each time, I had to call and chase it myself, and after calling, I still had to wait a long time—the longest wait was 40 minutes, and by the time it arrived, my coffee and food were cold. The excuse given by the front desk was, surprisingly, "we're eating," even though the hotel didn't seem particularly busy compared to other hotels I've seen. This level of service is simply unacceptable. If the hotel wants to retain guests based solely on its location, it really needs to invest in its hardware and service. Based on my experience this time, it definitely didn't live up to the Marriott brand, and I won't be choosing it again.

Overall, my stay was incredibly satisfying and offered excellent value for money – definitely a big thumbs up! First off, the hotel's location is superb. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and right next to a large shopping mall, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. For tourists, this is a huge relief. While the hotel's facilities show some signs of age, with a slightly dated decor, and the carpets and furniture appearing a bit worn, everything was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was very comfortable, so it didn't impact our rest at all. What really stood out was the hotel's service, especially Moon, Pink, Joyce, and Freya at the service center. They proactively asked about our check-in time and room preferences, arranging rooms on the same floor for us even before we arrived. The swimming pool was also great! All in all, it was a fantastic stay. I would definitely consider staying here again!

The room was nice. They called in advance to ask about my needs and estimated arrival time. For breakfast, I woke up a bit late, so some items were already gone.
