Nanning Yongjiang Hotel (Chaoyang Square Branch)

The room was pretty good, and they even upgraded me. Although it's an older hotel, it was very clean. The only downside was that the kindergarten next door was under renovation, and the workers were a bit too diligent, starting their work as early as 6 AM, which was quite noisy.

The front desk and cleaning staff were polite and enthusiastic, but the bedding, which is what I care about most, wasn't clean. The duvet felt damp and wasn't fluffy, and it even had black spots on it initially. After I reported this to the front desk, they handled it promptly, so the service quality was good. However, the bedding itself was quite disappointing.

This is an old five-star hotel, even older than me, haha! It's been renovated in between, and despite its long history, it's still clean. The service is responsive and the staff are friendly. The morning tea is delicious and the discounts are great, and the other dishes are also very tasty. Plus, they offer a complimentary airport drop-off service, which is very nice. It definitely holds its own against the open-plan sea-view suite I stayed in at the Sheraton Beihai the day before. Highly recommended!

I made a last-minute decision to go to Nanning, and the hotel's location was super convenient for getting to the pedestrian street. You can tell the hotel has a long history and a real sense of heritage; it's clearly hosted party and national leaders in the past. The service was excellent too, and they offer airport pick-up/drop-off. This time I rented a car, but next time I'm in Nanning, I'll definitely choose this place again.

The hotel's location is great, just a short walk to Zhongshan Road. It's an old-school hotel, and eating breakfast there immediately transported me back to my college days. Back then, most star-rated hotels had this exact style. It felt like time had reset, and I was filled with so much nostalgia. If only time could go back! While the decor is a bit old, the cleanliness and service are definitely up to par. They even offer airport shuttle service. If I ever get the chance to visit Nanning again, I'd very likely choose this hotel. I believe many nostalgic 70s and 80s born people would enjoy this feeling as much as I do. Highly recommend!

This is an older 5-star hotel with excellent service and no issues with cleanliness. The rooms are spotless and tidy. The only drawback is that they're a bit small, but overall it offers fantastic value for money. The location is superb, with easy access to the pedestrian street!

Overall, my experience was pretty good. I hadn't booked a particularly large room, but the front desk guy helped us upgrade from a king-size bed (1.8m) to a super king-size bed (2.2m), which was perfect for our family of three. The room also had a view of the Yong River, which was nice. One small thing though, when we first entered the room, there was a faint smell of food. It felt like the previous guests had eaten in the room and the smell hadn't completely dissipated. We chose this hotel because of the outdoor pool. We went in the afternoon and it was nicely shaded, and our child had a great time.

The executive room, priced at over 400 yuan, is essentially a standard room that should cost just over 100 yuan. What greedy capitalists! The facilities are old and outdated (it's been ages since I've stayed in such an antique), the environment is noisy, and the overall experience was terrible. I'm providing this feedback for everyone's reference – proceed with caution! Lastly, I want to say that this hotel is all glitz on the outside but rotten on the inside! I never easily leave bad reviews, and I'm posting this so that recent visitors can see it! It was truly unbearable! I recommend checking out the room before deciding whether to stay!

The location is unbeatable, right next to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, in the heart of Chaoyang District. It's an old, well-established hotel in Nanning, but the facilities are dated. The room has carpets, and Nanning's air is humid. Being allergic, I was itchy all night and developed a rash all over my body the next day. The mattress was quite soft, the kind that sinks when you sit on it, which wasn't comfortable for me. However, the hotel offers airport shuttle service, which was convenient since I was traveling with my 70-year-old parents and aunts. It really depends on your needs.
