Renaissance Nanning Hotel

The room design is great, and the front desk staff were wonderful, even giving toys to the kids. The chee cheong fun and rice noodles at breakfast were delicious. The high floor offered excellent views. The pool water was a bit cold, and the room was slightly small, but these are minor issues, overall it was a very good stay.

The hotel is of a high standard overall, with elegant and refined decor throughout its public areas. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, featuring high-quality linens and comprehensive amenities. The service is attentive and prompt, and the food and beverage offerings are exceptional. With a prime and tranquil location, the experience was excellent. It's highly recommended for both business travelers and holidaymakers.

Due to a typhoon, we had to change our plans last minute. Rory Wu at the front desk proactively upgraded our room. The room was clean and comfortable, the environment was nice, and the pool was clean. The only minor issue was that the hairdryer was a bit outdated. It was a very pleasant stay, the service was excellent and it's definitely worth recommending.

Coming back from Wuzhou and transiting through Nanning, I decided to stay for a night due to the weather, which also gave me a chance to get a feel for Nanning, learn about the Yongjiang River, understand Guangxi, and experience the 'Eight-Guangxi' culture that I had only read about in textbooks. I also took the opportunity to visit the Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum. The hotel is an older one; the facilities are decent, but the breakfast could be better.

Extremely satisfied! 👍 The service and cleanliness were excellent, and they even had delicious breakfast. After exploring Chongzuo, I decided to return and stay at the Renaissance Hotel again.

The room was clean and comfortable. Any issues we had were promptly resolved, and the service was excellent – attentive and thoughtful. I'd definitely choose Renaissance again for our next family trip. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient.

Not suitable for families with children. The room was tiny and the bed was small. The toiletries, like the toothbrushes, were of mediocre quality. Breakfast had limited options and the taste was just so-so. I only had a little fried rice, a small piece of roasted pumpkin, two pieces of stir-fried mushrooms, and some rice noodles with a bit of chili oil, but I ended up with severe diarrhea. I have no idea what kind of oil they used.

First, the positives: The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, and we even got a complimentary bowl of Laoyou noodles when we checked in. The room had a bathtub, which the kids loved. However, I personally feel it wasn't great value for money. For nearly 600, there was no complimentary laundry service. The bedding was subpar, not very soft, and made a rustling sound with every movement.
