Unbeatable location & insane lake views! 😍 The Good: Perfect Location: Seriously, the location is unbeatable. It’s right at Shuishe Pier, so starting your Sun Moon Lake boat trips or bike rides is a breeze. Super Easy to Get To: If you're taking public transit, it's just a short walk from the main bus stop for the Taipei/Taichung shuttle buses. Total lifesaver if you have luggage. That View Though!: The absolute highlight was the room's balcony. The view facing directly onto Sun Moon Lake is stunning. Waking up to that scenery was worth every penny! The Not-So-Good: Basic Amenities: Just a heads-up that the hotel is pretty minimalist with the amenities they provide. They’re quite limited, so you might want to pack your own favorite toiletries. Overall: Honestly, for the views and the convenience alone, I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend grabbing a lake-view room!

The hotel is strategically located at the pier, very convenient to ride the boat, nice lake view, breakfast is mediocre, check in process is fast, hotel has lift with 9 floors, this hotel has operated for many years

The location is great, right by the pier and a 5 min walk from the bus station. The staff was okay, the room was a little outdated, but the view of the lake was amazing. The breakfast buffet also had a good selection and good coffee = great start to the morning.

What a nice place to stay in such a wonderful location, the Sun Moon Lake. Everything you need to start your daytime adventure is in a walking distance, be it supermarkets, bike rentals or simply the Sun Moon Lake itself. Friendly staff, a cozy room and a delicious breakfast buffet make the stay at the Shui Sha Lian Hotel Harbor Resort a sheer delight.

The reception can speak English well, they provide pre and post check in baggage storage. The hotel location is really good, not far from bus terminal and convenienct to travel around. Next to the hotel, there are boat service, restaurants, bicycle shop. The room is a bit old but complete amenities and towels. The balcony provides spectacular view of the lake. Worth the value!

Lovely hotel The view was absolutely stunning. You can just wake up and look at the sunrise. The food was okay. We didn't have to wait at all surprisingly.

The hotel was Beautiful and clean lovely spot by the lake! Close to everything! Breakfast was good! Some free snacks and water in the room would have been nice to have!
