The Lalu Sun Moon Lake

I stayed at The Lalu for two nights and had an excellent experience. The environment was serene with breathtaking views, and the room was clean and tidy. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service. Everything was impeccable, highly recommended!

Every year, I take my parents to Sun Moon Lake, and this time I was really looking forward to staying at The Lalu. Although we had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, the noise from a nearby private room significantly impacted our dining experience. Aside from that, all the hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The reservation staff were very thorough in their explanation before our trip, but they didn't mention that some limited-edition dishes in the restaurant needed to be pre-ordered, which left me quite disappointed during dinner. Afterwards, due to various issues with our Chinese restaurant dining experience, a hotel manager personally stepped in to appease and resolve the situation. This showed that the five-star hotel truly maintained its high standards in customer service. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

Among all the hotels I've stayed at in China, this one offered the best experience by far, completely outshining a top luxury hotel in Sanya.

Sun Moon Lake in March, the water was beautifully serene. I stayed at The Lalu for two nights. In the mornings, I watched the light mist swirling over the lake, and at night, I enjoyed the reflection of the lights on the water. There's no ostentatious luxury, yet every detail encourages you to slow down, find tranquility, and rediscover yourself. It was only two short days, but it felt like a period of time gently cherished.

We stayed here for my parents' 60th birthday trip. The service was excellent, from arranging the shuttle van to preparing a surprise cake. The morning walks around the property were simply magical.

The Lalu is always my first choice whenever I visit Sun Moon Lake. I absolutely love the hotel's overall design, the room layout, and the staff's warmth and enthusiasm. The Lalu boasts the best lake views in all of Sun Moon Lake. My favorite part is enjoying the picturesque scene of the serene lake and distant mountains just before sunrise; I can stand on the balcony and quietly admire it for 30 minutes. I do have a small suggestion for The Lalu. We were a party of 10, staying in 3 rooms. Upon check-in in the morning, we clearly specified how our luggage should be distributed among the rooms. However, when we checked in that afternoon, we found that the luggage and welcome cookies for two of the rooms had all been placed in just one room. I understand The Lalu has many new employees, and they might need time to become familiar with all the operational details. This minor issue doesn't diminish our affection for The Lalu at all.

Excellent! The service here surpasses 99.99% of five-star hotels in mainland China. Staying here for a night makes the trip to Taiwan absolutely worthwhile! Just go for it!
