Fuli Hot Spring Resort

I chose Fleur de Chine because being able to relax in the room with a hot spring bath is truly comfortable. It's also about a 10-minute walk from Shuishe Pier, which is a pleasant stroll.

The hotel has been renovated many years ago, and many parts of the room show repairs. However, it wasn't very clean; there were stains on the pillowcases. It might be considered a hotel near a tourist attraction. The room had a musty smell, which was especially noticeable in the morning.

I booked a one-night stay with two meals, and the food quality was very mediocre; it was a semi-buffet with very limited options. Additionally, the room's cleanliness was noticeably poor, as if the staff did a superficial job. There were also issues communicating with the hotel about the shuttle service; I had to call three times to arrange it. The hotel kept telling me to call them once I arrived at Shuishe. However, after reporting my arrival at Shuishe, they said the service time had passed and they couldn't provide it. Upon reaching the hotel, the front desk kept passing the buck, claiming the person who took the calls wasn't aware of the arrangement. I was extremely angry.

Overall, my stay was great. The hotel is conveniently located with beautiful surroundings. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot spring facilities were very relaxing. The staff were friendly and always eager to assist with any guest needs during my stay.

We were on a self-driving trip to Nantou County, Taiwan this time, and wanted to find a hotel in Sun Moon Lake, Nantou County, Taiwan for 2 nights. We saw that 'Fleur de Chine Hotel' had good reviews online, so we chose this hotel in the end. The hotel offers free parking for self-driving guests. Perhaps because we visited in mid-June, which isn't peak season, the first parking lot very close to the hotel wasn't too crowded. The hotel room had two spacious double beds, and the cleanliness and space were good. The buffet breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant were of average quality. The hotel restaurant's service needs improvement: A day before our buffet dinner, we had informed the lobby staff to tell the hotel restaurant that we wanted them to provide a small birthday cake for us to celebrate our birthday during the buffet dinner. However, that evening, the hotel restaurant supervisor surprisingly said they hadn't received any notification and didn't help make a small cake for us on the spot. Additionally, about an hour before the buffet ended, the restaurant staff started clearing away the food without any prior notice, which unfortunately forced us to end our buffet dinner for the evening. Furthermore, the hotel originally had an outdoor hot spring pool for guests, but we found that the entire hot spring pool was under renovation, which was truly disappointing. The hotel should have informed guests who made reservations in advance. If we visit Sun Moon Lake, Nantou County again, we will not stay at this hotel again!

The room was spacious and very clean, featuring a large private hot spring bath, which was fantastic. It's about a ten-minute walk from the station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making dinner arrangements easy.

Plenty of parking available, and it's super close to Shuishe Pier, which makes connecting to different attractions a breeze. It's really convenient for taking boat tours or riding bikes. The staff service was excellent, and the breakfast had a good variety, mostly Chinese style, including Gua Bao.

Having a hot tub right in the room for a private onsen experience was absolutely wonderful! It saved us the trouble of going to an outdoor bathhouse, offering both convenience and privacy – I loved it! A big thank you to the hotel's front desk staff too; they clearly explained the check-in process, and everyone was so friendly and polite. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family, and I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance. Superb! 👍👍
