West Hotel

Traveling with two young kids, the room was spacious enough. Considering it's roadside, the soundproofing was surprisingly good. My only minor gripe is the lack of water dispensers on each floor; there's only one at the front desk downstairs. It was a bit inconvenient having to go all the way down just to prepare milk, especially since the room only provides an electric kettle but no bottled water. Parking was convenient, and the environment was clean. Upon arrival, the front desk didn't offer any specific information about the facilities, perhaps because there was another group queuing up behind me.

The service was friendly, and the room was neat and clean. The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to everything. It's a 15-minute walk to the night market, and there's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs. However, the air conditioner's vent was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep for both nights. The room's soundproofing was poor; I could hear people talking and showering in the next room. While the room itself was spacious, there were very few hangers, only two. Overall, it was still acceptable because the room was cleaned quite well.

The views from the window overlooking Puli town and the mountains are incredibly open and expansive. Getting around is easy as there's a bus station right downstairs with routes to Taichung and Sun Moon Lake. Buses from Taichung to Sun Moon Lake are always packed, but if you go from Taichung to Puli first, and then from Puli to Sun Moon Lake, you'll always get a seat. That's why I chose to stay in Puli for my trip to Sun Moon Lake this time, plus it's cheaper than staying right next to Sun Moon Lake. It's also not far to walk to Puli Night Market or other eateries in town. The room was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall environment was excellent. The soundproofing was great too, I had a really good night's sleep.

The quad room was very spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The location is also great, just a 10-minute walk from Puli Night Market. Overall, it's a hotel worth revisiting.

The bathroom facilities were decent, but the cleaning wasn't thorough enough, and overall cleanliness was just average. The soundproofing isn't great, especially in the bathroom where you can clearly hear the sounds of people showering in other rooms and the running water. The location is convenient, and parking is easy.

The hotel is super easy to find, just a straight 13-minute walk from Puli Transfer Station. The front desk staff were really friendly and always smiling. The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked great. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.
