If you look at the map of Naoshima the hotel looks a little off the beaten track and this may put you off staying here. However, nowhere is very far on Naoshima, the bus runs regularly and if you can ride a bike, rent an electric bike for your stay. The roads are not very busy. You can also walk if you like to walk. Wright Style is clean, the basic rooms are on the small side but the beds are comfortable, the water hot and the hotel reception were excellent and helped us with information and advice. The walls of the rooms are a little thin and on ocassion you can hear sounds from the bedrooms but this did not bother us. Breakfast was good at the Italian restaurant next door to the hotel. There are a a couple of other restaurants in the area that you can walk to and both servce good food at excellent prices. They do close at around 2100 so be careful. There are some other great things that the Wright Style offer. First, a luggage pick up and drop off service from the main port on the Island to the hotel. This works well. The other is that you can rent bikes depending on availability at the hotel and drop them back at the port or vice versa. This is very useful. Overall, very good and if we ever go back to Naoshima, will stay here again.
