Quaint House Naoshima Reviews

Quaint House is only 5 minutes walk from the port. And there are coffee shops nearby so we can go there for breakfast. 7-11 is only less than 1” minutes of bicycle time so the location of this place is very convenient. We love the rooms privacy in this house and we have a home feeling during the stay.

Really convenient location - right by the port, bus stop & facilities like cafes & restaurants. I stayed here on my second night on the island - first night was at the Benesse Museum. Wish I stayed here for both night TBH

Near to Miyanoura Port, coming from Uno Port. It is a mere 4 min walk from the port. There is no reception to inform you of the room. So we opened the doors to each building. My name was on a piece of paper near the door/ shoe shelf. If there is someone staying in a building, he/she/ they would have locked the door so no worries. Big clean and nice :)

Convenient location.

The room was very clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was as expected, but a little small. The entrance door was frosted glass, so light leaked in. Curtains would be nice. There was no check-in required, and the key was left inside the room, which I thought was a bit careless. I also thought it would be nice if there was a mirror in the room.

The location is very close to the pier, bus stop, and I LOVE Hot Spring, making it very convenient to get around. Bicycles are also available for rent. The place is very clean, and the staff are very patient and attentive. I really like this quiet space.

Highly recommended. There aren't many accommodations on Naoshima, but this place is very close to the pier, and there are convenience stores and bus stops nearby, making it an excellent choice for a trip to Naoshima.

We arrived in Naoshima at night, and it was close to the port, clean, and convenient with convenience stores and facilities nearby. The bathroom was a modular bath, which was quite small, but other than that it was clean and comfortable.

Very good location, next to the port. Clean. There is everything necessary for normal life: kettle, air conditioner, cosmetics. Very cozy.

We stayed in a cube room. A great location to just spend the night and see the area. But, since it is a converted container, it quickly cools down on cold nights and you have to constantly heat the air with an air conditioner, and it is quite noisy. Not critical, but we were unable to get a good night's sleep

I give a minus because there is no administrative staff. We waited at the door for someone to come and open our room. Otherwise everything is ok

It is close to the port. If you want to transfer to other islands, it is convenient to transfer here. If you need to take a car to go to the art museum Have dinner at a restaurant in the evening, take a walk, and watch the stars on the way back. For breakfast, I found a restaurant that opens at 8 o'clock and many others for lunch.

Классное место на Наошиме! Сам куб небольшой, с чемоданом вы там не разместитесь, но очень уютный и в нём есть всё необходимое: душ, туалет, холодильник, средство от насекомых (это важно!). Я бы, правда, добавила еще средство для разглаживания вещей, очень не хватало). Ключ можно получить в ресторане рядышком, там же можно пообедать, забронировать велосипед или оставить свои вещи до заселения (200 йен за 1 вещь). Вечером царит идеальная тишина, так расслабиться и отдохнуть после долгой прогулки по острову точно получится! Если вдруг станет жарко, то можно включить кондиционер или открыть окно. До станции парома и знаменитой красной тыквы Кусамы идти 5 минут.
