The location is excellent and perfect for exploring Naples on foot. The staff was always polite and friendly. However, there are a few things future guests should know. We were a family of seven traveling with ten pieces of luggage, and no one offered to help us either when we arrived or when we checked out. Since the hotel begins on the third floor and does not occupy the entire building, moving all of our luggage was especially difficult. I had also requested nearly a month in advance that our three rooms be located together, but this could not be accommodated. The hotel provides only one key per room (a lost key costs €10 to replace), and there is no staff or food service after 10:00 p.m. Overall, it’s a good hotel thanks to its great location, but the lack of luggage assistance was a significant disappointment, especially for families or guests traveling with multiple suitcases.

All perfect: location, amenities, services, cleanliness

Let's start with the positives: The location can't be beat if wanting to explore Naple's historic center. Plenty of restaurants and shops were close by. The beds were the softest in all of my two weeks touring of Italy. I prefer my rooms cooler and the a/c unit was excellent. Bell hop and breakfast staff were so nice. Breakfast was good! Receptionist was able to arrange airport transport very easily and quickly. The so-so("negatives"): The receptionist was a bit cold and indifferent. My room orientation was odd. I had to go up a narrow set up stairs after the elevator and an immediate step up when opening the room door. The bathroom orientation was also strange as it was long and narrow. There was a persistent musty/mildewy smell that did not get better after keeping the windows open. I saw most of the other rooms were in the regular hallways so perhaps those don't have these issues.

This hotel was a gem in the middle of a chaotic city like Naples. It was in the perfect location, served great breakfast, and the staff was amazing. Alessandro created a wonderful itinerary for the day that I used. I would stay here again.

Not worth the price paid Wanted to love this hotel, but the rooms have stairs which was difficult for my older group. You also have to enter through a small door behind a large door, take a coin-operated elevator to the 3rd floor to locate the hotel lobby which we found cumbersome, especially with luggage. Experience was not worth the price paid.
