It’s an old hotel. The only bonus I felt was being able to enjoy a private bath session with onsen water.The morning shift customer service was nice. You need to be extra careful with the washing machines. I accidentally inserted coins twice at the same time, but the machine only counted it as one wash. I asked the evening staff for help with a refund because I pressed the refund button, but the coins didn’t come out. Unfortunately, they couldn’t refund it, and I felt a bit sad… 😒 As a solo traveler, this hotel is a good choice if you’re on a budget and enjoy the old-style Japanese ryokan atmosphere.

Lovely little hotel with a walkable to Nara Park location. The room was small but fine for one person. I appreciated using the hot springs after a long day of walking around. The room was warm and comfortable.

This place was so cute and excellent. Staff didn't speak much English, but we were able to communicate easily enough. Room was Japanese Ryokan style. Tatami mats, low table. It had everything needed, shower and toilet in the room too. There is also an onsen that you can reserve for your private use. I asked for a time later at night and they still had one spot available. If you can't get a time then it is "public use" after 22:00, which seems to mean that you might need to share if others want to join. Location was very good, right in the middle of the historic part of town and a short walk (＜5 min) to Nara park to see the deer. Hotel was very nice and clean. I was here in late December and the air conditioning heater in the room was very good too.

Pleasant stay with my husband, mum and auntie. The place was clean and very near the the shopping street. There is no lift, elderly might have trouble with their heavy luggage. The 2 private onsen bath has to be 'reserved' by taking the timing key chains at the counter.
