We received great service from the staff. Luggage was brought to when we waited for check-in. Room is spacious and very clean. It's an exoerience to stay in such traditional Japanese style hotel. Hot bath was nive as well. The price is a bit on the higher side compared to regular hotels, but its the experience you get instead, including traditional indoor clothing.

My wife and I stayed overnight and had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We actually regretted not staying another night as we had other travel plans. The hotel combines classic ryokan style with modern amenities.

The 12 tatami room was very spacious and clean, and the room smelled refreshing. Moreover, Japanese hospitality and their attention to detail made the whole stay very pleasant. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing. We also informed the Ryokan that this was our 6th anniversary trip and they gave us free photography, which was lovely! Location wise, it is conveniently located right next to Nara park, and just an easy 15min walk away from Nara station or 10min away from Kitetsu line.

Everything was great except for the hot springs, which were just okay. As a standalone hotel, it's a good place to stay.

The room was spacious, and the hot spring was wonderfully uncrowded and relaxing. Everything was very clean. There's free ice cream in the lobby, which was a nice treat after a hot spring soak! The hotel is conveniently located near tourist attractions, and it's about a ten-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Station. The service was excellent, and there's free coffee and tea bags available in the lobby. The only downside was that the room wasn't very warm. In winter, cold air seeped in near the windows, and even with the air conditioning set to 30 degrees, it still felt a bit chilly.

Right by the park and close to the town centre and restaurants. Very friendly staff. The Two stars i removed were due the bed being less comfortable than other beds I've had in Japan. Plus the bathroom gave off a slightly unpleasant smell.

Th tatami room was everything I expected and was very clean. It contained airconditioning a toilet and a bathtub which you probably won't use since the onsens are free to use. Both onsens were nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
