The rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located right in Meriken Park, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the sea view. The off-season rates offered excellent value for money, making it a superb choice for anyone visiting Kobe.

This is one of my favorite hotels. It boasts a stylish design and is directly accessible from the JR line. Despite its proximity to the station, the soundproofing is superb. A bus stop for Nara Park is conveniently located right downstairs. The breakfast spread was excellent; I particularly recommend the cold noodles for their delightful chewiness. I've generally found hotel breakfasts in Japan to be quite generous. The last photo shows a nearby restaurant called Yayoiken, where I enjoyed a salmon set meal.

The hotel looked quite impressive, the facilities were new, and the complimentary tea selection was generous. However, the cleanliness standards were surprisingly poor. Upon entering our room, we repeatedly found long strands of hair, which was particularly perplexing as both of us have short hair. We reported this to the front desk, and they promptly moved us to a different room. Yet, even in the new room, we still found a few long hairs. All in all, it felt like a very strange experience.

The hotel is really good, conveniently located right outside the subway station exit. The rooms are also quite spacious, offering a good level of comfort. To reach the hotel, exit Nara Station's West Exit and take the connecting footbridge to the second floor of the building. The hotel lobby is on the third floor and is accessible by elevator. The rooms are a good size. You don't actually need to book a corner room to enjoy excellent panoramic views of Nara Station. A helpful tip: The front desk does not provide direct luggage storage.
